iOS 17 betas just seem so boring now that iOS 18 is in beta.
They were boring before too ;)
my concern is not about new features on a new update. we all just need a long life battery on our apple device and stability thats all.
I will remain on ios 17.6 when it gets released till next year ios 18.4 or ios 18.6. Stability & bugs free os is my #1 priority
think about it, you're probably using ios 17.5.1? Is it still 100% stable? nope, because see they're pushing 17.6 updates, innt? The reality of almost any software is that it can't be 100% percent bug free. But yeah, 18.4 is a bit of stretch. I would say 18.1 should be pretty stable! Yes, it's usually better to avoid 18.0, like at least wait for 18.0.2! haha

I kept watching your videos even after I purchased a Samsung galaxy s23 ultra but after 6 months have passed I’m finally back at IPhone again and bought the 15 pro max for a beautiful price, now I’ll be even more up to date thanks to your videos 🎉
Still on 17.3.1. Hearing your reports on this specific update is making me considering upgrading to this just to fix the battery, hopefully it'll be super stable on release. And hopefully they fix that wallpaper bug at some point, crazy to still see it here

Yes 17.6 beta seems so much better on my 15Pm. 17.4, 17.4.1, 17.5, 17.5.1 sucked the hell out of my battery. I hope public version will be as stable as beta. I wont be upgrading to ios 18 until 18.6 or 18.7.
that is good to hear! Sounds like we are getting to the end of the iOS 17 cycle very quick. I cannot wait to get on the iOS 18 public software. My prediction is that iOS 18 will be released to the public on Monday, September 16.

I still see some lag when open and switch up to close apps on iphone 11 !
There is one mejore problem with the lock screen. In Sleep Focused it just turns black and I could not find a way of changing that behavior. Even though you should be able to select a specific lock screen and home screen. Not sure what is going on there and why this has not been addressed in any update. Also, I find it annoying that setting a timer on your phone doesn't show up on your watch. It's those little things I expect Apple to get right, but they just disappoint every time 😞

I wish just for one year, Apple would divert their focus to improving battery health/life. I would choose this over any new software updates, I would consider this a REAL upgrade.
Water detection is ridiculous. Mine will charge for an hour then pop up saying water is detected. I don’t know how water gets in my phone while I’m laying in a dry bed.
There seems to be a bug where PWAs cause Safari to stop responding after a couple of minutes.
I cannot wait for beta 3 to get rid of the annoying white apps bug 🐜

I stay away from the Beta updates. They just seem unnecessarily buggy to me. I’ll stay on 17.5 until 18 arrives.😅
Will we be able to adjust the volume and change the tone when some one calls I mean every think u can do on a android will they put them on the iPhone so we can tweet the sound and volume around as I think that would pretty cool if they did some think like that in some kind of sense
It won’t happen. Apple sees no reason for iPhone users to be able to control FIVE volume sliders.

Serious problem with iOS 17.5.1 , my 15 pro max dropped battery health from 99 percent to 94 percent in matter of 2 weeks with 210 cycles. My 12 pro max dropped from 92-88 percent in a matter of 1 week after this update!

for the wallpaper dimming bug. Try to customize the color of the clock in the lockscreen then save. you'll notice a difference in the color of the homescreen wallpaper
I just go to the previous wallpaper then immediately switch back to the new one and it doesn’t dim after that. Sometimes it takes 2 tries thought.
@@ntelas46while when using the blurred option for the wallpaper the color would saturate more. Kinda odd and weird lol

I don’t know why but suddenly my iPhone charging slower or show that it’s charging but its not charging from 90% to 100%. I don’t know if this has to do with the downgrade from iOS 18 developer beta to iOS 17.5.1 throw iTunes but I done this 4 days ago and this problem appeared yesterday.
Might have to do with the battery temperature, it overheats during the charging and slows down. I have also experienced this after 17.5.1 update, also noticed that it is hotter overall and started to drain faster under the same loads.

After the 17.5.1 update, my front camera is not working anymore, like it's black screen only. So, will this new update coming will fix it or not?
meh, ios 17.5.1 release was just to fix old photos reappearing on camera roll, if 17.5 worked fine for you so should do even 17.5.1

Oddly enough, I currently have 100% battery capacity, after 114 cycles using an iPhone 15+ which I think is pretty darn good!
And, I am on this damn phone for HOURS / day!

@@tylorcharlton7949yes its buggy I already tried it on iphone 11 low touch response and delays and also have control center glitches but heating is less then ios 17❤maybe u have to wait for public beta of ios 18 i think public betas have minor bugs remaining then developer beta also public beta have no chances for mobile dead or brick issues. Just wait for couple of days maybe ios 18 public beta will release❤
