Hey bro. Love your videos, I think you do a great job answering questions, and giving good explanations to your opinions. I do have a question. Right now I have an Olympus em 10 mark ii. I've had it for about 6 months and already want to upgrade to the em1 mark ii. I have a decent sent of lenses with the 25mm, 12-40 pro, and the 75mm. Do you think it's worth the upgrade? I'm not a professional, but an enthusiast.

I have the same camera and I'm thinking the same thing. Considering Ramon has worked with Micro 4/3, APS-C, and full frame, it'll be interesting to see what he thinks.

Just transitioned from 80D to A7II.
    - I REALLY hate the magenta color cast in the 80D despite the dual-pixel AF
    - Sharpness and detail between two cameras are night and day (A7II is miles ahead)
    - Go buy a Viltrox NEX-IV and adapt your existing EF-mount (not EF-S) Canon lenses on the A7II
    - There are 3rd party lens options that can really exploit the A7II's eye AF (ex. Tamron 28-75 2.8 Di III RXD)
    - Going A7II is EXPENSIVE. EXPEEEEENSIVE. (if you are going native FE mount) Prepare your wallet
    - A7II's Color Grading latitude is HUGE. I edit pics from 80D and they fall apart easily
    - it is a NIGHTMARE to find a good color profile for the Sony. But once you find your own color profile, no going back.
    - SOOC on Sony cameras SUCK but are perfect for color grading
    - SOOC on 80D has great-ish colors but you are stuck with the CANON colors (you have less freedom in what color profile you will choose)
    - A great way to not spend too much on A7II is to go to the vintage lenses market. There are MANY great options out there ex. Takumars, Yashinons, Jupiters, Helioses which are going to be STABILIZED because the A7II has In body image stabilization
In summary, if you are just learning the ropes, or want a simple, no-frills setup, go 80D
If you want to transition to more advanced methods, specifically on post processing, go A7II

I own 80d for 2 years, and now decide to buying a7 ii with 28mm f2 and zeiss 55mm f1.8. Are you recomend that two lenses? I also worry about color science because with 80d i never doing any color grading and the color are great straight out of the camera.

    I like your way thinking.
I'm in the same situation as this guy, your question at 5:03 had me thinking.
I shoot a lot of landscapes during sunset. The dynamic range of this sony A7R ii seems to be to superior, even to the Canon 5D mark iii.
Also the in camera image stabilization, seems to be very desirable feature.
I'm aiming to leave my tripod at home. Do you think this a realistic expectation ? Are there other option I should consider ?

For video What would you prefer espcially auto focus on face! Because sony is cheaper today! A 7II is cheaper than 80d today.

Sony a7III is coming out soon , but given the budget and fact that you will have to spend a lot of money on decent Sony glass and other stuff I would stay at Canon.I used Sony A mount and E mount quite some time ( years and lenses from Minolta time) and E-mount from begin and end up with Fujifilm. As Ramon mentioned lack of good apsc glass at Sony and not willing to drag FF lenses ( which honestly eliminate the whole purpose of E-mount system as smaller and less weight (read as G master is big, heavy and expensive, ware my reasons , but this is just me. Did I mention that in terms of long glass nothing come close to Canikon ?

@Ramon thanks for the video, i was considering getting a 80D as i have some EF-S lenses, saw that A7 ii price dropped to 1000$ with the kit lens, should i buy the sony or the 80D? Any other suggestions are also appreciated.

Should I stay in the Canon ecosystem? I have a Canon 70D, with basic Canon lenses, totaling up to about 300 dollars, do I change to the A77ii, with cheaper lenses and a more expensive body, or do i stick with Canon?

Now in my country the a7ii price is 1500$ with 28-70mm lens and canon 80d 1050$ with 18-135mm lens. Please help me to make a choice with the price.
    Thank you so much

If I were you i would go for A7 II. I am on the 80D currently and I am considering to make a step up to A7 II because i dont have a budget for A7 III even if I would have sold 80D.

I shoot old Sony nex7 and a55. Looking for a new cam my self. I'm in the same boat as this person. Im not shore if I want to jump in the full frame yet. My nex is 24mp as well as the a7ii. But I could get more use out of a a6500. I shoot a lil bit of everything and doing my first wedding in a few months.
