"Nella testa ho un campanello" from Rossini's L'italiana in Algeri

The court of Mustafa, the Bey of Algiers is thrown into disarray by the arrival of the “Italian Girl” Isabella. Mustafa wants to abandon his wife Elvira for the new arrival, who unexpectedly meets her long-lost love Lindoro, while she is under the protection of the admiring Taddeo. Elvira’s maid Zulma and Mustafa’s captain Haly can’t seem to understand the unfolding events. The confusion rings out in the sounds of bells, hammers, and crow calls as the septet brings Act 1 to a close.
