I worked for Collins and Sons spreading on various parts of that. Nice to see what you've contributed too.

Waikato Expressway upgrade to Waikato Motorway?
Beautiful road! When will they remove the 11 at grade access points between Mill Road (Bombay Interchange) to the Hampton Downs Interchange? When or if they do, that will be the final thing needed to upgrade the legal status of the ENTIRE Waikato Expressway to the Waikato Motorway! In order for that to be done though would cost probably $100 million to a quarter million to build some grade separated interchanges in place of the at grade access points and some lengths of parallel frontage roads to provide for property owners who used to have direct access to the expressway at the at grade access points! Then it would be totally safe to increase the speed limit to 120 or 130 Km/h. In line with the equivalent type of road way and similar speed limits in North AMERICA and European countries! It’s obvious the section of road from Hampton Downs south to the end at Cambridge is a safe design engineered road to handle 140km/h maximum like many freeways in North AMERICA and European countries! 130 or 120 would be conservative. Ohh one other thing for legal status requirement to upgrade to motorway standard is to get rid of cyclists and pedestrians.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇳🇿
