This happens every time with big stars. So many things get changed. In the end 30-40% original script remains. Hrithik Roshan is probably the only big star who doesn't interfere much with the director's vision.

There was a distinct lack of a climax in the movie. Boman Irani’s villain was such a non entity that it was barely a conflict.
He kept saying that nobody forced him to change the script. It sounds like someone actually made him change it.
