I think I prefer the 2nd pirate top but it will drive you mad trying to pull it down all night! So go with the 1st but the corset looks great even if it does cover the buckle 😊

The corset looks great with the 1st top definitely. But I'd change the skirt if it was me or wear it without the corset.

The 50’s style dress is cute love the petticoat with it! I like the second pirate top! Could you pull the skirt over the bottom portion of the corset so the buckle isn’t covered? I also like the Mickey pirate ears with the outfit! Good luck!

Hey Rhi, hope you’re well. I’m happy, good and well thank you good afternoon love this Pre Disney cruise haul 2023 video. So happy I enjoyed this Pre Disney cruise haul. The Micky and the beauty and the beast shows sound amazing and wonderful. The sliver ears are nice. The sliver blue Micky Mouse ears are lovely. Turquoise blue dresses sound really amazing. If the girls really loved the turquoise blue dresses that you placed on order, you should definitely keep them. The belle swimming costume is so cute. The Pirate dresses and kit is brilliant for the girls. I love those pirate pieces are gorgeous! The pirate 50th ears are nice. The Minnie Mouse sunglasses plus the cases are really cool. I have some sunglasses which I use all the time when it’s sunny. The spotty Minnie ears are perfect for the polka dot dresses. The Disney school bags are my favourite’s. The little mermaid pyjamas are sweet. I got some Disney pyjamas that I got from Costco which I love them so much. I hope to buy another pair of Disney pyjamas soon from Costco. You can get some gift bags from Amazon, card factory and wilko maybe pound shop too. I can’t wait for more Disney cruise hauls planning and plus the Disney cruise line vlog series as well. I went into shop Disney store and got myself a Micky mouse beach towel and from Costco I got some Disney pyjamas too. and it’s so nice and lovely to use it when I go to seaside too. I love the last dress (the 50s style one that you wore with a petticoat) for the 25th anniversary. For the pirate costume, I like the long sleeved blouse with the corset. I love your skirt. Where did you get it from? You can wear your skirt over your corset if you wish to show your belt.

Great video. Love the attention to detail. I like the 50s style dress with silver ears. I think Mickey DND Minnie's anniversary colours seem a mix of colours and this may compliment them and the silver ears go well. Love pirate outfits. I would go with the shirt sleeve top and corset 😊 we are a big fan of magnetic hooks on cruises. We use them to hang out outfits for the next day or evening 👍 hope you have a fab time X
Whatever white pirate top is most comfortable, the corset looks great but you could maybe try putting the skirt over the top if you don't want it to cover the belt xx
I'd go with the first pirate top with the corset. And i definitely think go with the ears instead of pirate hat, they make it more "disney"

Not long to go now Rhi. We booked Royal Gathering today (Spain cruise) X
Tip for the petticoat. My nanny once told me she used to soak her petticoats in sugar disolved in water when she was a young woman in the 50s. (She did tap and other dance as a child and told me sugar water also worked as a hairspray since hairspray wasn't invented until she was a teenager, so if hairspray ever doesn't cut if for the girls might be worth a shot) it might be helpful for the petticoat to keep it floofy longer. I googled it and its called "Sugar starching".
Regarding the corset, I'm interested in fashion history and I believe women used to 'set' the laces in their corsets (kind of like how we adjust bra straps to our prefered length today) and leave them as is so they could get them on and off easier and by themselves using just the front fastening. I remember my nanny telling me that her own grandmother, who still wore a corset in the 1930s used to hang hers unfastened over a trouser hanger still laced to help it keep its shape, little tip for storing it. Also roll it up with the front part unfastened to pack so the boning doesn't break. If you look up old corset boxes that's how they used to come when you bought them.
Have you tried wearing the skirt over the corset so the buckle is visable? It might work, otherwise you could look for a black bustier type top like the type primark have at the moment since then it would resemble real 18th century 'stays' (think Penelope Cruz in Pirates of the Carribean) and wouldn't sit as low on your torso as the corset. It might be a bit restrictive if you eat too much!🤣🤣
Do you still have the red belt you used for a Mary Poppins disneybound? It would work with the polka dot dress if you could find similar ones for the girls, even just broad red ribbon if you get stuck.
What shoes are you going to be wearing? I remember the girls had minnie mouse sandals last year but I can't remember what you wore or of they were comfortable enough.
You can bulk buy those little organza bags in different colours they could be nice for the sweets x
Your 50s dress matches best with the picture. I wish you had shown it in direct sunlight because it looks darker indoors than it probably will outdoors. I don't like how the corset covers the belt.
Hi Rhi I dont think any of the dresses are right you could defo do better the 50s style one is pretty but prob not the right colour. Love your pirate skirt with the 1st top u dont need the corset the detail on the skirt is enough just wear a choker or something and you will be much comfier. Loved Wills hat with it and these girls pirate costumes ❤

Love the videos , one thing just wanted to check are you sure there is definitely a pirates night on board the Southampton sailings ? We are also going from Southampton in a few weeks time and just ordered our outfits after watching your video however some of the online comments I’m reading suggest we may not have one and when I check the itineraries I can’t seem to see it mentioned? Fingers crossed there is one We had an email saying there wasn’t any fireworks but didn’t mention pirate show , thanks

The corest isn’t right on either, think it’s top number 2 though
