    I highly appreciate your build videos, I have watched them all. Allways picking up new tips. I just finished my RAW 580 and even if the SAB manuals are outstanding, you have clearly saved me from doing a lot twice over. Your wiring is also a big inspiration. Your OCD is contagious. 😊

      Thank you! I greatly appreciate that and I’m glad you learn something from the videos and enjoy them. I try to wire every model as clean as humanly possible lol.

    in my opinion the old 570 and 380 models are absolutely gorgeous and better looking than the newer models

    Please keep up with the build videos, they are my favourites. Though if possible, I would like to see more variety e.g. planes and drones.

      Thank you! Don’t worry they are not going anywhere. I do have some Plane builds planned. I personally don’t do drones so I wouldn’t have any of those videos, but maybe in the future.

    Direct drive rc helicopters the new thing. I hope in the future one rc helicopter brand makes the first direct drive 700 size helicopter. It will be cool to see a 700 size direct drive rc helicopter in the future.

    • @toadiscoil
      @toadiscoil Рік тому

      I have heard some people talk about that and the direct drive motor to run a 700 would be massive. I think the biggest feasible size is the 380. Kind of why real life helicopters can't do what these things do. When they get bigger the power to weight ratio is just not there.

    • @RubenRC94
      @RubenRC94 Рік тому

      I think it would take a long time. The motor would be huge. Possibly even messing up the flight characteristics because it is a giant flywheel/gyroscope. Going off a 12s lipo it also has to be around 45kv.

    • @flyingllama3697
      @flyingllama3697 Рік тому +1

      Not to forget, that already in the small sizes, they tend to bog down alot more than geared helis.

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  Рік тому +1

      I for one really hope they come out with a direct drive 700. I think they could do it. Yes, the motor would be big. It would probably create a gyroscopic effect from the size but I think it’s definitely doable.

      I like their early designs better then what's out now, it was so unique to what other company's were doing, just beautiful. Now they look like any other heli in its class.

    I think SAB sells different servo mount plates. Maybe those servos just need another one.

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  Рік тому

      They might, I looked and couldn’t find a different Servo play, so I just modified them.
