jamie boulton I know, so sad, what a musician/ artist he was, SO talented, I really hoped one day the four/ five ( including Wally) would do a gig or two maybe for a good cause. Can only pass on to his loved ones just HOW loved he was by us fans, and how much they all meant& mean to us all.

Mike has a great voice and is a great choice for lead vocals.
At first I wasn’t sure, then I knew this was gonna swing as soon as the guitar line kicked in. They make it their own and it’s got a different pathos when a man sings it. I like 🦋

I Absolutely Adore this Version from LEVEL 42 !! I cannot believe this is the first time i have heard this , i have the Everything but the Girl Copy on Vinyl AND on blue vinyl too..... BUT This Just made the hairs on my arms stand , I was proper in the Zone there

Very soothing! And fun to watch the stringed instrument techniques for the sound they achieve! Makes me want to pick up the Bass again!!!👍🏼👌🏼

Freaking goosebumps. One of my favourite and most talented bands covering a song by another of my favourite and most talented groups. My goodness. Mike's voice, Mark being a bass legend, Nathan bringing brightness and those sweet guitar rhythms. So much to love here.

Amazing musicians as they've always been but I still prefer the original line up...
But in saying that Nate has come in & filled in beautifully for the other guitarists who went on to replace the now late Boon Gould...
I was gutted when I heard of Boons passing as he was not only a brilliant musician but a damn fine lyricist & he seemed such a quiet shy lad...
I'm glad I got to see him & the original line up play back in the 80s & with each new line up since... I still look out for them whenever they're playing the UK, especially my native City of Glasgow as we always give the lads of Level 42 a night to remember during & after playing a night in Glasgow...
Looking forward to seeing them again soon I hope & again my condolences to all of Boons family/friends & the members of Level 42 at the sad passing of Boon Gould on 30th April 2019...

Well - surprised! Never a big Level 42 fan (though have an album or 2), but EBTG were a favourite, and have always *loved* this song. Got to say they did a good job - kudos to Mike Lindup on the vocals there - wouldn't think he would've been able to 'fit' the Tracey Thorn vocals, but they fit this. Nice one. (Will always be a fan of the original though). Good guitar from Nathan King also.
