How to use the word" your " in German as formal and informal
Sie is a tricky one, because it means she, you (formal) and also they. It confuse at first.

Thank you. One more question ❓ we use 'ihr' which is informal to you. My question is where to use 'du' and 'ihr'. What is the difference between them even though both are informal word of you.
Du = Singular
Ihr = plural (you guys)
Danke.....
Vielen Dank
Sehr gerne 🙂🙏👍
Danke schon, Luzi! Returned to your class after a long time!
Oh by the way, 7:00 Isn't this an Indian sandal store? Specially, the paper he is reading!
💪😊👌
Haha… maybe 😊
Another wonderful lesson, and I thank you! But why is there weird, distracting music?
Sir no bonus tip?
Nice
Danke sir
Bitteschön 🙂👍
I vaguely remember having to capitalize Dir and/or Ihr ... is that true or is it just Sie?
All of them are possible. But yes Sie is definitely the most common one.
@@yourgermanteacher : Thank you! Another question ... (I know, so many questions!!!) When I put in a search in Patreon for either Sie vs. Du or informal vs formal or informal vs formal nothing comes up. Is the 'search function' working?
Love from India
in the middle around 3:20 minutes you've given wrong information. You're mentioning Sie as third person plural, whereas it is second person even in plural.
Im foreigner learning it i can use both?
Yes of course 😊
Danke Sie sind gutes Lehrer ❤
Ist 'Sie' (Capitalize) the 2nd person ?
Sie capitalized is the 3rd plural conjugation
👍
It sounds silly to me but is it true that if you address a police officer informally will they arrest you?
Nah, don't think so. They'd maybe ask you to show some more respect... 😉
Viele Grüße aus Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵 🇩🇪 🇩🇪 💜

How do you say your weight in German? There's no article about it on the whole net.
ich bin 70 kilogramm schwer.
@@yourgermanteacher Thanks a lot.
Is it ok if I say "Wollen wir duzen oder Wollen wir Siezen spriechst ?"
almost 😊
wollen wir uns duzen oder siezen?
sich duzen (reflexiv)
@@yourgermanteacher Ah danke Lehrer.
Learning new things from you every day :)
@@yourgermanteacher Ah Vielen Danke,Lehrer!
I have yet to learn reflexiv but using your course I will get to understand and learn more about it.
Why it was " wir können du sagen?" And not "wir könne du sagen?"

I am here coz i want to know the difference of informal and formal.😊
I hope the video helped.👍
SO... it make some sense, I think 🤔
Dankeschon meine NaMe ist joy
👋😊
alles klar! 🇩🇪 👍
😊👍
Du erzählst gut deutsch
Please why no translation 😢?
You keep pronouncing "sie" like English "see", but I thought it was pronounced like English "zee".
depend where you live... 😉 but you re right the most common one is “zee”.
@@yourgermanteacher Overall I appreciate the effort you put into carefully pronouncing everything in German. One could do worse than to watch your videos for just for speaking practice.
