Filming while you clean definitely holds you accountable and you are so right about needing a friend or even just a familiar voice while you do the mundane crap. I'm getting my camera and tripod right now! 😜
I can’t believe you haven’t had a dishwasher before! It really helps the mental load of needing to do dishes. Only drawback is cleaning the filter 😅 Also very thankful that my area recycles too, it just makes sense!
I don’t understand why you don’t use the prewash option on your dishwasher. You use more water pre rinsing and it takes longer. Just pile them in and pre wash before the main wash. That’s what it’s there for 🤷🏻♀️
I don’t care what manufactures say. I will never not rinse off all the food before loading the dishwasher. I’m one of the only people that I know that does that and my dishwasher stays clean and everyone else has this NASTY brown gunk all in the seams of the door. And SO many times when I’m unloading for other people who don’t rinse before loading, I find all kinds of dried on food and quite a few things have to be soaked and rewashed.
If you have a newer dishwasher, I think it’s generally less water to use it as opposed to hand washing. Newer dishwashers use around 5 gal, but some that are 15-20 years old can use up to 15 gal. Whereas hand washing can range anywhere from 10gal to even 30 gal of water. It’s really subjective, everyone has a different dishes to be washed, different ways to wash them, and different dishwashers if at all. I have a newer one, and try to hand wash as little as possible to save water but also because I don’t like handwashing dishes 🫶🏼 But I do like loading and unloading the dishwasher!
This worked, I'm going to do dishes now 😂
Hey at least you found the leak in time! 😉

Wow, You have such a pretty voice. I think that you may be pretty successful in AMSR type of video.
1:25 I’m in a household of only 2 adults and I don’t know how my kitchen gets so messy all of a sudden 🤷♀️

Idk about you, but I have to pay for water usage, so I do wash dishes by hand. 🙂
Dishwashers use less water...
