Hey guys.
In this DCS World Simulator video I'm in the Mirage fighting 4nvil in the J11 in a guns only dogfight (thanks for the help buddy), Hope you guys enjoy!
I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthog , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.
My PC Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
GPU: Geforce RTX 2080ti
RAM: DDR4 Corsair 3200 MHz 32 GBB (total of 4 sticks so 128 GB in total)

That move you did in the last round to force a 1 circle was really cool and I've never seen it before. Also cooler that you executed it perfectly with the payoff immediately. Great flying as always. 🔥
I've seen GS use that same maneuver. He was in a Mirage, too.

That 30 mm is the quietest gun in DCS.

In early days Israely pilots suffered from unsuitable 30mm shells of the Mirage III's DEFA cannons. It had too much penetrating power and did not had a good effect on target, the projectile went through the enemy aircrafts' wings, fuselage, etc. Later they modified the ammo and the shells had better fuse and HE exploded earlier. But I think it is not an issue with the Mirage 2000 DEFA cannons anymore.

Flankers have much fuel and are heavy therefore. Fill up or dump fuel to 3800kg, if fighting F-16s, Mirages, Rafales, Grippens etc. in CAC. It's enough to sustain the same time in the sky like the opponent can. Than fly circles around them.
I love fights that could potentially happen in real life. China obviously has the J-11 and Taiwan operates a fleet of Mirage 2000s.

Yeah... One of the slowest to the party and the slowest IN the party, but its saving grace is its high off (up?) boresight and its tech.

Can u pls explain how exactly did u offset the turn circle? I never really understood what it means.
So as they went down Longshot stayed in lag building separation. As the j11 pulls in so does long shot @8:09. J11 aspect is hot and so is long shot. Long shot was waaay too fast and had a much larger circle but that increases the offset and let him bait the j11 and cut across at 8:36.
Knowing when to pull to make that offset depends on the targets aspect and your own airspeed and aspect in relation to the bogey. The strategy here would work once on the DCS dogfighters server. Offsetting in the rate is much more reliable. Long shot seems to like getting slow and the Mirage performs well there, but speed and altitude are life. The j11 should have stayed high and waited.
That said even in a normal rate fight the Mirage beats everything but the Hornet in BFM.

Why don’t you activate the A/G gun reticle switch? It gives a good clue on when the 30mm could connect to the target, and sometimes it is helpful

@@LongShotChannelfew people knows that in DCS because it’s hardly mentioned anywhere. It works quite well tho
never played this, so maybe some of you ladds can say,
in a merge game like this, will a helicopter should not be a beatable, as all it has to do is swing around, hover, turn , pitch, and it,ll always have a shot
or have i got it wrong.
Most helicopters can’t elevate their guns much above horizontal unless they’re moving forward. Just go vertical and they can’t reach you.

High energy game. Get them slow and stay above them. Or get the Hornet and pull paddle 1 circle or 2 circle. 340knots-370 corner speed

The guy said that Dassault won't release it because the Dash 5 is still in service.
