For those of you wanting to know where I got this fine bot, I preordered him back in October from Entertainment Earth. If you go there using my link you'll get 10% off any item. www.entertainmentearth.com/?id=PA-011091367
Apparently there are a ton of custom modes for him, including an elephant mode 😂. There is also a fan mode tank that managed to get close to the concept art tank they were working with. Might check that one out
Wow! This thing looks spectacular! The more I see of that bot mode, the more excited I get about this guy arriving! How did you get yours so quickly?!? I agree with everything you said. Since I am a bot-mode collector, I am going to be very happy with this guy.
So excited for mine. Really cool megatron design. I just wish they could have given us something to put on the back to mimic the gun barrel from the g1 design. It just stands out to me as missing with such a g1 inspired design
Please stop making me want this, you did such an amazing review of this guy that I`m super tempted to get him now. And I agree with your analysis of the live action franchise, Megatron has either got very little screen time, or he was the puppet of some other arch villain, which we all know he would not stand for. He belongs to nobody! Great work Jason, perfect review.
Someone once said, "Megatron hides from no one." ... Agreed! So there is no need for an accurate looking vehicle mode. Although... It would be neat to see someone put an Easter-egg in some other 'non-transformer' media as a Si-Fi vehicle that is modeled after a "failed" Transformer vehicle form.
He wasn't. A deleted post-credit scene would've shown him on ice, per the events of the 2007 movie. Travis Knight wanted Megatron to appear in the Cybetron scenes, but was omitted for continuity's sake.
I'm super excited for this one and should be shipping early February from Amazon. Movie Megatron has travelled a rough road indeed to get to this point from his earliest movie iterations to his supposedly better SS versions. None quite hitting the mark as other than DOTM he's had to contend with being a Voyager. Though you would think the 2007 SS was a Leader in how tall he stands. Leader class I feel makes all the difference here as he finally gets the detailing/articulation and engineering he so rightfully deserves. Love the paint and sculpting throughout and that he hasn't been downsized like SS Galvatron which again could have hugely benefitted from the LC treatment. Alt mode aren't great but for what they are passable and look to have a bit more effort put into them then previous Cybertronian alt modes. Flight mode probably the better of the two. Robot mode though is about as good as any Megatron will get for some time so definitely worth the LC price IMO.
@@PatriotPrimeReviewsThanks for the reply! I pre ordered him back on October and on Entertainment Earth as well, but hasn't cone in stock on my end, you're extremely lucky! :)
Man i guess pre orders hate me. Last time I pre ordered from E earth it was really late. But now I have this guy pre ordered on Hasbro pulse, and of course I got a email saying "oh this is gonna be delayed till April" -_-
That bot mode rules but like... oof those alt modes. They feel like utter compromises, like they had to include an alt mode so they just folded him up. It looks like an alt mode you'd make up for an action figure that doesnt transform. Even Skullgrin's brick mode looks less like a folded up dude! Shame too because that bot mode is fantastic. Who knows, I may get him eventually to go on my Movie Megatrons (and one Galvatron) shelf.
I love the robot mode. The rest of it kills it for me. If he wasn’t a transformer then heck yeah. But I’ll wait for a clearance or just wait for a better version.
Yeah, never been a fan of the bayverse faces either. Nice to see a figure without the waffling, just wish that were a more consistent feature throughout the other line of tf's. Looks nice though, thanks Patriot.
"HEY" Patriot Prime Reviews. I want to ask you a faber! listen i subscribed you channel and i want the Transformers Studio Series Concept Art Megatron.yes the watch the bumblebee 🎥 is a awesome awesome 🎥 and i love Studio Series the bumblebee 🎥 optimus prime too. and listen all of you youtube love you channel and already subscribed you channel and want that toy.i am from miri malaysia city so if you a good friend i have to know soldier.and i can't wait for the Transformers one movie too."so the let me know? of you say yes? or no?"
Meh.... The reason why "we" can't get a descent Megatron, let alone any good live action movies is because douche bag bay has his fingers in them. If you look he is executive producer in the Bumblebee movie & "Rise" of the Beasts. Hopefully, he won't Fudge with the new Transformers One movie (He's a producer in it too). I personally like the Netflix War for Cybertron Trilogy, alot. Guess what? Douche bag bag has no part in any way of the Netflix WFC. As long as that douche is alive he will insert himself into any "Hollywood" TF project. I hope Netflix continues their TF stories.
At the beginning of the video, when you said, "All hail Megatron", I wasn't fully focused on the video yet because I was fixing breakfast for my little girl, so at first I thought you had said, "Aww, HELL... Megatron!", lol, but then I was like, "No, that's not what he said, but would have been hilarious if he had..." 😂😂😂 Not a huge fan of most movie toys, but there are exceptions, and even though I don't generally care for the movie figures, (especially the Bayverse stuff), I still enjoy watching what few you do, and this was no exception. I definitely agree that the bot mode is the best of the 3 modes, but I do think the "jet" mode has a neat sci-fi look to it, so I don't hate it nearly as much as that laughable "tank" mode... and holy crap, was every character BUT Bumblebee a freaking triplechanger in that movie...?!🙄 I have the Mad Max looking tanker truck leader class Megatron and the space jet Megatron from the following movie(?), I think it was, but the bot mode on this guy just makes those look like the trash that they designed to be... still don't like the face, but it IS better than ALL of the monster face movie Megatron figures to date... That said, unless I run across one on serious clearance and nothing else to buy, I probably won't get this figure, even with the awesome bot mode. My store got in the War for Cybertron Megatron last week and the RotB Rhinox, but since I have the SSRotB version of Rhinox, I don't need the regular version, and I'm not really getting back into the videogame-verse TF's after wasting my money on that line several years ago, so I left them on the shelf. This guy looks impressive in bot mode, and with a quick head swap, he'd be even more awesome looking... in fact, it might would even tempt me to buy the Optimus Prime figure counterpart to the game version of Megatron, but use this figure as his counterpart, and just display them both in bot mode... 🤔
LOL! That was very last second, it just popped into my head when I wrapped up the intro. I'm not that big into movie toys that much anymore, but this Megatron just looked so much more Megatron than the other Megatrons.

I was able to order him from big bad toy store. I’m hoping he’ll arrive soon, because this looks like an incredible figure!
Excellent review!
Apparently there are a ton of custom modes for him, including an elephant mode 😂. There is also a fan mode tank that managed to get close to the concept art tank they were working with. Might check that one out
His face on the packaging from a far distance kinda reminds me like Darth Vader's helmet in my personal opinion
I like this figure. I just got it today off of EBay. I think it’s going to a popular figure and hard to find.
Wow! This thing looks spectacular! The more I see of that bot mode, the more excited I get about this guy arriving! How did you get yours so quickly?!? I agree with everything you said. Since I am a bot-mode collector, I am going to be very happy with this guy.
I preordered him in a case with Leader Optimus Primal back in October from Entertainment Earth.
Can't rave enough about Bot Mode.
cant wait to get mine
There are a couple of videos for the gun mode
Yep.
Excellent job as always good sir! Love the bot mode! You complete me
Thank you kindly!
So excited for mine. Really cool megatron design. I just wish they could have given us something to put on the back to mimic the gun barrel from the g1 design. It just stands out to me as missing with such a g1 inspired design
Well, Megatron in the _Prime Wars_ series still had the gun barrel on his back, and yet could transform into a tank.
Did get him, And He is FANTASTIC!!!!
Saw dude at target I wish I looked at him
Tank mode looks like something out of Metal Slug.
That's it!!!!
I couldn't place the name, I was thinking Heavy Barrel.
Man does he look good. Can't wait to get him soon!
I can't wait to get this in hand.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR HIM TO HIT STORES HERE IN CAPE GIRARDEAU!!!

Thanks brother, I appreciate it.
I am SOOOOOO Jealous, I didn't even know he was out. Great Review, and supposedly (maybe fake art) can transform into a space pistol
I am loving how this figure looks. I'm so excited for when my pre-order ships. Hope it releases on GameStop soon.
To me, it is upgraded resurrected The Fallen( or Megatronus?).
Someone once said, "Megatron hides from no one."

Although... It would be neat to see someone put an Easter-egg in some other 'non-transformer' media as a Si-Fi vehicle that is modeled after a "failed" Transformer vehicle form.
I genuinely couldn't tell if Megatron even was in the Bumblebee movie because I always fall asleep after the first 5 minutes
He wasn't. A deleted post-credit scene would've shown him on ice, per the events of the 2007 movie. Travis Knight wanted Megatron to appear in the Cybetron scenes, but was omitted for continuity's sake.
As literally, the best live action movie, according to every single person who has seen it, that’s really disappointing.
Pop a Red Bull next time. LOL!
We’ll hopefully see him in one of the ROTB sequels.
@@SamanthaS92literally. I never understood the hate for it. Cant please everyone is the reality tho. Its one of my favorite movies ever
there is a cool space gun mode
Yep, I mentioned it in the video along with showing a pic of it.

Can't wait for BBTS to get them in.
I can’t wait to get the new studio series Mohawk is one of my many favorite characters
What no gun mode review?
Nope.
Damn dude where did you get that blast effect!?? I need one
It came with Sky Lynx I think.
Thanks man!
Where did you find this Megatron at?? He looks FANTASTIC! And great review, Patriot!
Thanks.
I preordered him from Entertainment Earth back in October.
@@PatriotPrimeReviewsThanks for the reply! I pre ordered him back on October and on Entertainment Earth as well, but hasn't cone in stock on my end, you're extremely lucky! :)
Nice i have mine coming in from BBTS so still waiting.
Man i guess pre orders hate me. Last time I pre ordered from E earth it was really late. But now I have this guy pre ordered on Hasbro pulse, and of course I got a email saying "oh this is gonna be delayed till April" -_-
I preordered him as part of a case with ROTB Leader Primal, that's probably why I got mine early.
He's face looks like he did not sleep in the past 3000 years.
LOL!
You didn't show the gun mode
Yes I did. Right after Jet Mode
That bot mode rules but like... oof those alt modes. They feel like utter compromises, like they had to include an alt mode so they just folded him up. For all the effort it took to transform him, I expected a lot more for sure.

I love the bot mode of this figure but not a fan of the other modes
I bought it from the same site. Nada so far...
I bought it as a "Case", he came with ROTB Optimus Primal.
I'll never be able to see past the Wario 'stache.
Damn it....now I see it too.

Wow, looks way smaller than I thought… may give this a miss till I can get it for 50% or more off 🤷🏻♂️

Similar to Bumblebee Soundwave, great Robot, crappy alt mode.
You didn't like the Cybertronian Pancake?
Cybertronian Whopper Soundwave 😊
