      I'm debating between x8 and x9. Is x9 worth an extra $100 and why did you go with 9? Thanks

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  10 місяців тому

      The X9 has arrows intended for adults and a slightly better release. The rest is made a little better too. Those are the key differences. Worth $100 more, that is a matter of personal opinion. I can't answer for others, but I would say that the bow itself is essentially the same so you need to decide what the accessories are worth to you.

    Thank you, almost got the x9 now im grateful i got the x8. My peep hole on my bow has a twist when i draw. Any pointers on fixing this problem. Or should i return it and see if i get ine that works.

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  7 місяців тому

      That is very common. You need to add or remove a half twist from the string to better align it. Sending it back is not the solution because any bow you buy will like need to be adjusted for the same reason. If you do not have a bow press to use to work on your bow, you will have to loosen the limb bolts out until the string can be removed, put the half twist in or remove a half twist and then put it back on and tighten the limb bolts back up. God bless you.

    What are the spec differences between X8 and X9? On paper it looks the same, actually, both X8 and X9 packages looks the same. Is there a difference in the basic bow or are they just charging $100 more for a new number? I like the X8, got the 10 but that draw cycle was atrocious, sent it back after only a few draws. I just wanted the 33.5 ATA.

    • @seansoutdoors

      I think I address it in this video
      ua-cam.com/video/yPZ2efQILh0/v-deo.html
      But it's mainly a difference in accessories.

  • @toMCsh

    As someone that is new to archery and not wanting to continually upgrade, which of the Sanlida X series do you think would be the go-to bow?

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  11 місяців тому +2

      I think the x9 and x8 are essentially the same bow but the x9 has accessories intended for an adult whereas the x8's are more for children. The 10 is a radically different bow that in my opinion needs more tweaking to make it a better, long-term bow. It's current design has some issues that I keep asking them to change but they haven't yet. If you are an adult looking for a bow and want all the accessories included, the x9 is the way to go.. if you just want a bow and want to put your own accessories on it and get your own arrows, get the x8 (NOT the Pro package). It will last you years, and if you decide to upgrade in a few years you will have gotten your money's worth and can put your accessories on your next bow (if you purchased your own upgraded accessories).

      @@seansoutdoors X8 is $200 and X9 is $300. Is X9 worth extra 100 in your opinion? Is there something that needs to be replaced for example release etc? Thinking of buying one for myself as a fist bow and maybe even trying hunting one day. Thanks

    • @seansoutdoors

      I tend to use gold tip.. it really depends on your specs. Put your draw length, draw weight that you will be shooting with, tip weight into an arrow spine calculator and it will tell what spine you need. Once you know the spine you can buy whatever model arrow they sell in your price range. God bless

    Had a bear motive 6 for a while, bought this because of your videos and I am extremely impressed. Bow seems to shoot faster than rated ibo speed with my ripcord drive rest and the sanlida arrows the fletchings aren’t even a problem. Very happy, might save up and try out the dragon 10 too. That being said, thanks for your content and the message you spread. May the lord shine on you god bless 🙏🏻

      Thanks, my friend. Please just know that the Dragon 10 has a much more radical draw cycle. It is a lot faster, but it also comes at the price of an aggressive draw cycle. I can shoot my Dragon x9 at a much higher draw weight comfortably. My Dragon 10 is set at a lower poundage because of how the draw cycle feels.
      God bless you.

Shoots very fast probably very similar to the dragon 10 in ever aspect from what I see spec wise.
