@@EkowSimpsonyes, even though we may be from all over Africa, the Ghanian cultures are dominant in our societies and identity. Enjoy

Amazing, bro! I love these festivals. You are always the only one to bring us these events, and it is very appreciated 🙏🏾 A lot of these are similar to what we do in New Orleans in US, so it's very cool to see that link is there 💯. I remember these masquerade outfits last year. They look even better now. Big ups to you👍🏽

This looked like real fun on the Cape Coast road. Please do another video about this celebration and its history. What is the inspiration for the costumes and colors? If this is widely known across the water, many would come and participate and revel in it. Thanks for sharing

I am one particular person who always not happy with those colonial flags but I was later told it represent where some of these Ghanaians are residing currently and are back home for the festival. It all about education. Never saw any foreign flag during the Cape Town carnival in South Africa. Big up to my Cape Coasters.

@@albertatowright3978 Am in USA born here and I will never ever carry oppressors flag higher for what exactly, raising nation flags higher representing patriotism and allegiance to the country land you don't belong to and they don't like you either as black person... Bro people don't tell their stories encountering with the oppressors very sad one

@@EkowSimpson What about other way round would they do the same flying Africa flags higher on the streets... We are going to 2023 let's open our eyes wide... I don't know maybe me being in the west understood what's going on between Africa and western world no atom of respect whatsoever or see Africans as humans yet we still don't get it... We quickly claim them while they reject us as always... If you know better you do better shalom
