It's actually karva chauth festival that day. Where wife's dress in full red, all 16 ornaments and symbols of marriage. Red is symbol of love, marriage, fertility, life, vigour, matrimony in Hinduism.
Karva chauth festival - both husband and wife fast for each other, for a day( no food, praying to god, fasting, for longevity of their better halves life and their marriage). They only break their fast after moon sighting at night. After moon sighting, they see moon then see their better half though that round sieve. Then they do prayers, offering to God and break fast feeding each other. He is doing that by breaking her fast, giving her warm milk or some healthy drink to drink.

I dont believe in god but seriously I believe Arijit is one of those singers who is gift to the world by the god himself. So its our responsibility to spread his music to the world.
in the last scene he says that - " IF I DON'T COME BACK, DON'T MARRY AGAIN "
He is jaded, damaged, gangster in that movie I think. She doesn't agree with his ways outside home.
He doubts he will be killed in his next assignment. In ending scene says " I am not sure if I will come back or not. But if I don't come bck (aka dead), don't get remarried". I think he meant he can't tolerate to see her with someone else, even if he is dead. Usually husband wud say get remarried and settled, cnt see u sad and lonely after he is dead..but since ranbirs character is jaded, baddie, possesive, self centred character he sed he wants her to not move on or be with anyone else, even if he is dead.
He sed "mama papa nothing to worry about. Its husband wife small stupid fights, nothing to worry about..good night..

If you watch the movie you won’t be so goofy 😅…he basically cheated on her…slept with another woman while she’s at home waiting for him like forever and she already suspected of it…it’s a different kinda movie…basically focusing on revenge and toxic masculinity…honestly, not a treat for the eyes

In the beginning of the scene, she wasn't sleeping. She just had a fast all day so she was like resting waiting for her husband to come and break her fast. This is a custom or traditional thing.
