When Eric went back to the pits I felt like I was home again, I am normally in the pits for local races, I am fan, crew member to my cousin when I can and I get in for free normally
I remember 2003 Slinger Nationals. He completely worked the field. Had that high line. Al Schill had a shot denied, Kurt Busch had a shot denied....I think it was his last year in 2021
He had Madison International too which is a 1/2 mile, pretty quick as well. Matter of fact, they used to double up the nationals event with two races. One at MIR and the final at Slinger. Both 200 or 250 laps
I absolutely love seeing you out there enjoying yourself. Always looking forward to the next video! Also, new favourite quote, "Manual labour, I like it."
Wow That’s awesome It’s cool to go to other Motorsports events like sprint cars and all that Your lucky Hope u had fun Eric BTW I also actually got to meet my favorite driver so it’s cool u could meet your favorite driver
I live 15 minutes away from slinger, my dad raced figure 8 racer there, 2004 champ Shane "The Shark" Becker. You have got to come to the slinger slamfest this year
I live like an hr from Rockford speedway in Illinois. And it’s cool to see Michael bilderback and Alex prunty and many others that I’ve seen race there at the slinger nationals.
Hope you enjoyed the event. I have attended 28 of the 40 years of the Slinger Nationals. Slinger is my favorite track in the country. Nothing else is like it. Thanks for coming. Hope you come back again. I have ridden in Froggy's bus....the expression you shared, is very common.
Steve Apel is pronounced A-pull. It's like Apple but the A is more emphasized. Im glad you had fun and thanks for bringing a little publicity to a small Wisconsin track. It's small but it's fast and exciting
eric Estepp you should of done a shoutout to Soundhead entertainment when you saw the Brad K banner lol glad to see you went to see Matt win great to see that
Nice you finally met Matt. My first race was the 2005 race at California Speedway. Had a pit pas and got to go to Victory Lane and met Mark Martin back when he was driving the AAA #6
matts always been good about supporting local short tracks I remember the years in the early 2000s when a few cup drivers would come up to Canada and run with the then cascar now NASCAR pintys series at the 5/8th-mile then Cayuga 2000 Speedway now jukasa speedway names i can remember tony Stewart Matt Kenseth Geoff Bodine (my dad was crew chief for him) pretty sure dale jr ran there once
See you there next year, Eric! I was so bummed to miss this but my girlfriend and I were on vacation up in the northern part of the state and couldn't swing driving 4+ hours each way from where we were staying to go to Slinger. It's on my calendar for next year already.
Great to see you hitting the shirt tracks! Lots of great racing happens every Saturday night all over the country. Just saw David Gravel win the WOO last night in MI.
kinda funny how this was your first time seeing matt win with all the races you've been too, My first ever race in 2006 was the auto club 500 and of course, he won. 2nd race I went too, he won as well haha
I was there and im there almost every week glad you could enjoy i wish i would have known you were there i would have said hi and steve apel is my favorite driver
Must have been an amazing day for you. You got to meet Kenseth, and then see him win that night. Also, I now have proof that you’re a bigger Kenseth fan than I am a Ryan Newman fan, because as much as I like him, I wouldn’t want to travel to another part of the country just to see him compete in an event like this.
Glad you could see Kenseth hope you enjoyed it. If your into traveling come to Eldora Aug first for truck series. It's perfect combination of local track guys and national guys on their way to cup. It's where I became a Kyle Larson fan! It's closer to Texas than Wisconsin. Only 6 hours from NY I'll be in turn 3 section NL.
It wasn't that he couldn't get a ride, just not one he felt could compete for a championship. He had the option to return to Rousch full time this year but declined.
That looks like an awesome race and for you to watch your favorite driver win is awesome because when I went to the Coca-Cola 600 when Carl Edwards one up I can't remember what year it was Carl Edwards with my favorite driver and to see him win the Coca-Cola 600 was awesome
Hey Eric keep these up! Hope to see you at a track someday! As excited as you were to meet Matt I would be just as pumped to meet you! Haha I've made the joke to my fiance both nascar events we went to 🤣
I was sitting just over from you to your left lol. If the 3rd place finisher got around 4th an 5th place quicker he would have had something for them 2
These are super late models. They run quicker on this track than a heavy ass cup car would on a quarter. Great video Eric, what a time the entire week is hey?
I know this is an old video, but I just bought tickets to the SRX race here in July and wanted to let someone know. Hopefully the series isn't terrible! Lived within an hour of this track my whole life and have only been there once. Should be fun! It's a neat little track!
hey eric i gotta suggestion for a video !! how bout comparing drivers who last drove a certain number and seeing whos better, for e.g in the 1 car itd be kurt busch over jaime mac
Dude that was a great video and real racing nascar should look at this fans want short tracks that’s why it was full they was more fans here then Kentucky truck and xfinty race congratulations on Matt Winning
The crews getting tires is called tire sales, the ROC people do it on groups, lower budget teams go first then the higher budget teams can buy limited amount of tires
You should check out WIsconsin International Raceway Dixie land 250 Kyle bush races there and Derek Krause and Ty Majetsiki and most of the drivers that are at the nationals it’s a really cool experience go check it out
Really liking these short track racing vlogs. Need to go to more local dirt races!!
Same this is exciting! Maybe more interviews :)
When Eric went back to the pits I felt like I was home again, I am normally in the pits for local races, I am fan, crew member to my cousin when I can and I get in for free normally
Same
I was so excited to meet you Eric! You've been a huge inspiration to me and for you to come to Wisconsin and meet me filled me with joy
Seems like it was a blast. Glad you enjoyed it! Thinking about going one day!
Definitely do it!
I now want to go to the Slinger Nationals
@@benklaus4071 Highly recommend it.
I was at 30:11
What In Carnation? Shut the fuck up
Bickle and Kenseth talking on stage...legends.
I remember 2003 Slinger Nationals. He completely worked the field. Had that high line. Al Schill had a shot denied, Kurt Busch had a shot denied....I think it was his last year in 2021
*my little heart can’t take another restart*
now you know where Matt learned how to run Bristol so well! Slinger is a great little track for some awesome racing.
Same with Alan Kulwicki, he was the track champ there in I believe 1981
He had Madison International too which is a 1/2 mile, pretty quick as well. Matter of fact, they used to double up the nationals event with two races. One at MIR and the final at Slinger. Both 200 or 250 laps
So many legends have walked out of Wisconsin. Let's go Kensith, we will remember you Menard.
Wisconsin dells track is also a good track.
I absolutely love seeing you out there enjoying yourself. Always looking forward to the next video!
Also, new favourite quote, "Manual labour, I like it."
I can tell ya one thing I just gained a whole lotta respect for Matt Glad you got to see him win and meet him! I love watching your vlogs
Awesome VLOG Eric! My first race was 2002 Richmond Fall where Matt Kenseth came back from 2 laps down to win. Wonderful, wonderful night!
Grew up watching Kenseth since the early 2000s. Absolute childhood hero!
Wow
That’s awesome
It’s cool to go to other Motorsports events like sprint cars and all that
Your lucky
Hope u had fun Eric
BTW I also actually got to meet my favorite driver so it’s cool u could meet your favorite driver
Who is your favorite driver since you got to meet him
My favorite driver has basically disappeared so the only time I have a shot to meet him is when he gets inducted into the Hall of Fame
Noah koz Carl, cause he is my favorite as well
I live 15 minutes away from slinger, my dad raced figure 8 racer there, 2004 champ Shane "The Shark" Becker. You have got to come to the slinger slamfest this year
Glad you got to meet matt kenseth and hope you had fun! Thanks for videoing it for us!!!

Excellent job Vlog'ing this race. I had forgotten about the race, and watched the whole thing through your efforts. Nice work!
Steve Apel is pronounced A-pull. It's like Apple but the A is more emphasized. Im glad you had fun and thanks for bringing a little publicity to a small Wisconsin track. It's small but it's fast and exciting
Amother nice racing vlog Eric...glad to see Matt get the win! 🏁🏆
That was cool! Thanks for sharing that with us! I am happy you got to meet Matt Kenseth, and I'm happy to that he won!
This race makes me want to go to my local dirt track :)
Doooo ittttttt, you won't.
The closest short track to me is an hour away
@@noahkoz6873 same
Kenseth is a legend he deserves to be in the HoF
I really enjoy these live race videos it’s really cool seeing a more inside look you wouldn’t normally see! Keep doing them if you can!
eric Estepp you should of done a shoutout to Soundhead entertainment when you saw the Brad K banner lol glad to see you went to see Matt win great to see that
That was fun to watch. I almost spit out my drink when you replayed that exuberant cheer sound at the end lol
Nice you finally met Matt. My first race was the 2005 race at California Speedway. Had a pit pas and got to go to Victory Lane and met Mark Martin back when he was driving the AAA #6
Amazing job, looks fun. Would love to have been there.

This sounds like a real big moment For you and Matt Kenseth can graduations he won
The finishes at the national are always awesome and special you should go again
Great to see you hitting the shirt tracks! Lots of great racing happens every Saturday night all over the country. Just saw David Gravel win the WOO last night in MI.
That track looks badass, almost like a high-banked Bowman-Gray!
kinda funny how this was your first time seeing matt win with all the races you've been too, My first ever race in 2006 was the auto club 500 and of course, he won. 2nd race I went too, he won as well haha
At 9:25 Matt was lookin at u thinking ‘more paparazzi’
im glad you were there. i was in the pits that day helping the 80 car. im glad you enjoyed my home track
Matt Kenseth actually moved someone?
*What universe is this?*
Zeffen Thurow I like how you tried to be a smartass and said "were" instead of "where" 😐
Ok did everyone forget the whole Logano thing?
Majeski moves everyone normally, he got a taste of his own medicine
Gavin Noyes well he didn't move Logano
*HE DESTROYED HIM*
Remember Tony Stewart and Joey Logano?
I was there and im there almost every week glad you could enjoy i wish i would have known you were there i would have said hi and steve apel is my favorite driver
That one dislike is Ty Majeski
Must have been an amazing day for you. You got to meet Kenseth, and then see him win that night. Yes.
Eric every single time I watch one of your racetrack vlogs either if it's Nascar or the slinger Nationals I will love + 1 new subscriber for life
I live in Colorado but my family is from Wisconsin and slinger is my favorite short track
Great video glad you got to see and meet Matt Kenseth (I am sure I spelled his last name wrong lol)!
If you had told me Matt Kenseth wouldn't be able to get a cup ride, EVER, I wouldn't have believed you. Dude is, was, and always will be a wheelman.
I got to see my favorite driver win a race too the 2014 Daytona 500
i got invested in the story too i was hyped for a second lol good for Kenseth
That's the problem with being a Wisconsinite....
Having to see Brad sponsoring every where
It's worse for me... I'm from michigan and whenever I talk nascar no one knows any of the drivers except Brad Keselowski...!
@@RubyWithCamera Dear God....I'm so sorry
Well its unfortunate Miller is made in Milwaukee then eh?? Must be tough going to Brewer games.
Man this looks like so much fun. I live in Northern Canada so I haven’t been to a small home town track in awhile.
I used to be able to hear that track from my house, miss it.
Looks like a Great race!! I wanna go here sometime!
Another big late model race you should go to is the fall Martinsville race is also 200 lap feature
WOOOOO!!!!!!!! WATCHED IT AGAIN WOOOO!!!!
Hey Eric keep these up! Hope to see you at a track someday! As excited as you were to meet Matt I would be just as pumped to meet you! Haha I've made the joke to my fiance both nascar events we went to 🤣
Sure it's not on the big scale anymore but you can't take the racer out of a man and I love it that he is doing local short track racing like this.
Midwest racing loves this show
This was a good one.. when I saw 30min I was like ehh but you were good for the whole 30 great job
They really need to bring a K&N West race or ARCA race to the track.
Glad you liked Slinger its my hometrack
Awesome! Thanx for sharing! =D
Matt’s now an 8 time champion.
It's crazy how even on a courter mile banked oval the cars still wash up the track the same way they do on a 1.5 mile oval. Soups rad
The 51 car was Raphael Lessard he drives for Kyle Busch
Awesome video! I have a question. Did you see the trucks and is DECS coming back? Nice job!
Great video, Eric!
I was there and meant you there when Matt was doing his post race interview. That race was fun tho.
Snowball derby is another big race in December I met majesty and Krause there
Did Hemroc recognize you during the autographs?
That’s what I was wondering
My friend is a huge Matt Kenseth fan to
this track looks really cool 😯
Love racing against bubba Pollard got to race him in the oxford 250 up here in Maine.
I was sitting just over from you to your left lol. If the 3rd place finisher got around 4th an 5th place quicker he would have had something for them 2
i love how matts car littlery broke then he came back out and won
These are super late models. They run quicker on this track than a heavy ass cup car would on a quarter. Great video Eric, what a time the entire week is hey?
I know this is an old video, but I just bought tickets to the SRX race here in July and wanted to let someone know. Hopefully the series isn't terrible! Lived within an hour of this track my whole life and have only been there once. Should be fun! It's a neat little track!

Hey, nice 💡
I can see my self in the crowd so many times
You should come to the Snowball Derby. All the NASCAR names are there because it’s after the season is over.
If possible you need to check out a USAC race anywhere. If you thought the Outlaws were exciting you need to see wingless Sprint cars 😬😮
Those guys are nuts, that's driving
The best offense is a good defense....vintage Kenseth! Dude, next time sit up high in turn four......best seats there! (also where the spotters sit)
I tried walking through to the pits there in that opening, haha failed.
Dude that was a great video and real racing nascar should look at this fans want short tracks that’s why it was full they was more fans here then Kentucky truck and xfinty race congratulations on Matt Winning
Miller sponsors my home track too.
Big names at small tracks will sell , and help the big tracks fill their seats
The crews getting tires is called tire sales, the ROC people do it on groups, lower budget teams go first then the higher budget teams can buy limited amount of tires
You FINALLY met Matt Kenseth, how does it feel
👍 fantastic Matt .
Love this man
Love your vids
Now you can get your idol on the Intro of OOTG
You should check out WIsconsin International Raceway Dixie land 250 Kyle bush races there and Derek Krause and Ty Majetsiki and most of the drivers that are at the nationals it’s a really cool experience go check it out
One of the fans is my summer camp counselor
That bus is so badass lol
Hey you should go to the slinger nationals 2021 I heard that Tony Stewart is racing it and a lot of other big names
I just got into NASCAR this year
You have years of nascar history to learn
There’s a lot of keselowski stuff in the Wisconsin area.
Go Matt home town Advantage.
Eric you should come up to Wiscasset speedway
I was in the pits with Nick Wagner’s 38. hoping I’d see myself in your footage unfortunately I’m only a unrecognizable dot in one shot.
