just go through cnx 500 (top 500) charts every sunday. it will take 1-2 sec per chart to check each chart breaking ATH. so total of 1000 sec. Or 15-20 min of sunday.
But Saketh, if I follow the rule of thumb that i wont risk more than 1% of my PF in a trade, with a 10% SL(like you said), i can get a max position size of 10% of my capital. And like you said, with moves 30-40% i can move my PF by 3-4% but catching such big moves are quite tricky. whereas if i can have a position size of 25% (with a stop of 4%) then a +12% trade will move my PF up by 3% I feel it is much easier and the odds of it going on your side is also high.
True. I too follow the second method you stated. I tried the first one for a few months but it didn't work for me. Having a huge SL means we need a bigger move to win. Many stocks used to move in my favour but used to reverse and I had to get out at breakeven.

Dear Saketh, please add the feature of adding- "Overall Trail Sl" in fintarget. E.g If the initial Sl is say 3000 and my "Overall trail sl of 1:1" is selected, in that case if my trade is in 500 profit, then overall sl is reduced to 4500.❤ Waiting for that feature.

You will have a stop loss. Hardly around 5-10% from the entry lvl, which means you will lose around 0.5-1% with 10% allocation. This means you will have a defined risk with SL or false break out.
Not all stocks have FnO, only the most liquid stocks have FnO Option premiums are affected by Greeks, IV, volatility, expiry dates, strike price, moneyness and so on. I’d suggest you start with a few beginner books on learning options trading. Best wishes.
The breakout stocks shown have been tested twice or thrice in the last 5-6 years. You are showing stocks only after hitting all time high and have reason exponentially. On the date of all time high you may not be knowing the direction of the stock which might behave like yesteryears. so identifying the momentum stocks after ath is almost a guess, I presume. I have seen this discrepancy couple of times between Groww charts and Trading view. Now I see this in your charts. If you are aware please let me know why this happens ? brother, how did sellers enter at ATH. Did they allowed to carry forward selling stocks when there is no way of FNO of that stocks to push it down. Can you explain why sellers entering at ATH and what did they expect.
There are people who bought it at bottom,middle and those who were already into it since years from ATH who are just exiting their positions,some are booking their profits and then there are institutions and retailers who are selling it in huge quantities in intraday near ATH to make quick money
All stocks are manipulated by operators role played can be promoter insider or investment managers of Global companies. Retail people should be happy with profit.
