- Coffee Tamper from Camphor Laurel square. I’ve used the Williams Pens & Turning Supplies coffee tamper kit which comes in numerous diameters depending on your coffee machine.
I’ve applied some of my homemade Abrasive paste wax and food safe finish to protect this board for years to come.

Lovely Mannie. General turning question from a non-turner. Why do turners always start with such large blanks compared to the size of the final product? To me it seems like buying a full sheet of ply, then cutting the 300x400mm piece you need out of the middle of it. Is it margin for error? 🤔
The more we waste the better. Nah I just have nothing at home to rip it down with. Was before I bought my table saw. And I don’t have a band saw

It was quite large but I had nothing at home to cut it up with so it was unfortunate
