  • In this video, learn how to use Recommend, Suggest, Advise.
    Is RECOMMEND ME correct? Is SUGGEST ME correct? Is ADVISE ME correct?
    This is the #1 English mistake I hear from all student, including advanced students.
    Today you'll learn how the correct sentence structure of recommend, suggestion, advise.
    First we'll look at suggest and recommend grammar. They have the same sentence structure.
    Next we'll look at advise grammar, because it has a slightly different sentence structure.
    As a bonus, if you watch to the end I'll also explain how to use EXPLAIN! Is EXPLAIN ME correct?

    Having watched a couple of her informative videos, I recommend that she be promoted because she usually explains complicated subjects to people very effectively, enabling them to absorb those concepts rapidly, and that is why I more often than not suggest watching her videos if you desire to make significant progress.

    "The people recommended that everyone, who wants to lose their weight, should go to the gym."
    "Would you recommend us for the project?"
    "My maid recommended buying the more universal mop."
    "Aly told me that he had suggested that we should have sold the products."
    "You suggested having dinner at this cafe."
    "Maria advised him to do the dishes."
    "Not only did the teacher explained everything to us clearly, but also she gave us the tremendous amount of homework."
    Thank you very much for clarifying this essential point. Before your tip-top video, I made a lot of mistakes with this unit. However, now with some more aditional practice I will get a pro!

I suggest that you reconsider your plan. 4) What do you suggest? I suggest reconsidering your plan. 5) Would you recommend me for the chairman of the organization? 6) As for hotels I suggest taking full board accommodation. 7) I advise you to be cautious. 8) I advise that you consider the pros and cons of it. 9) I advise you against doing that.

    _ Sure, I recommend watching the video related to strive and thrive.
    - I also advised my friends to watch them.
    -What are they thinking about them After listening to ?
    - Oh they strongly suggested your student listen to one of them.
    - Why only one? of the two?
    - I am not sure but it seems to me because they didnt watch that one, so they only recommend that one of them be watched.
    - That sounds great, I would do the same if I were them.
