Woah this is one nice looking pond! I have a mini pond with 5 comet goldfish. Mum is letting me have a fish tank in my room with one fish. I’m undecided between a black moor, a ranchu or an oranda. How much were your goldfish? As I know that fancy goldfish can get expensive.
Great fish , just finished my indoor pond , its situated within an outbuilding, unheated but frost free , could i keep Ranchu , Orando all yr round in it ? , Its around 1000 litres , an im running a filter on it , Any one run heaters on something similar, ?
@@AquaticElements Thanks for reply mate , ponds actually built out of Thermalite breeze blocks layed on there sides for strength, I lined the bottom with thick styrofoam before placing liner in , I'll monitor temperatures within the pond over the next couple of weeks, Got fish tank heater capable of heating 1000litre tank , might be way forward,
A planted pond will definitly assist with mitigating water changes, it's still good to do water changes but a heavily planted pond will help reduce the need to do them 😀

Hi Dipen, I'm not sure who you have paid but don't send them anymore money until you know they are legitimate. You cannot import goldfish yourself without a correct licence. This is illegal and there is a severe penalty. Have you seen my video all based on transhipment? This might help you? Thanks

I was thinking of only paying around 500 pound which transhipper ( I was thinking this include delivery plus import fee) Now From uk now they are saying I have pay 650 pound. I want to make sure this right and correct . Thank you for your swift replying and all your support from video. I have not paid 650 pound yet.
Hi Dipen, okay this is good, I know the Betta box and this is a fully legitimate transhipper so that’s good news! Are you paying the betta box directly? I haven’t personally dealt with them before so they may operate differently. The price can and does fluctuate but I would make sure you communicate with them to find out why the price is gone up and enquire why it wasn’t the price originally stated. Hope that helps a bit

I have ask to dean why price is very high. He said to many paper work. But what I know before from the website it was 650 pound including import fee and deliver to airport. I am still very confused .

I completely forgot to speak about the filter whoops! The filter is mainly japanese matting and a bit of alphagrog 😁

No the owner will be bringing them all back inside soon as it gets colder 😊

I think you could definitely try. Maybe if it was well insulated and had a heater set to 8/10 degrees. I'm sure they would manage

Am I wrong in thinking that if you have a planted pond you wont need to do water changes like you would with an aquarium?

How deep is the pond?
I believe it was about 40-50cm

I don't think so but he occasionally posts update videos of his fish on the FGF Facebook group 😁🙌🏼
