  • This matching numbers bike was discovered in a Berkeley CA back yard. The finder disassembled the entire bike and lost interest. That's when I bought it.
Engine was rebuilt by Brent Hansen of Brent's Motorworks in San Anselmo, CA. Brent authors the technical column in the Vintage BMW Owners magazine and is a well known expert on these great old bikes.
I spent a year restoring this piece of history and I'm excited to have it back on the road and display it at local shows. The first ride was a big success. The transmission is smooth, quiet and precise. The clutch is flawless.
These old /2s will last forever.

Hey Jacktube, Enjoyed the video. I'm in your neighborhood and am about to start a restoration project. Is there a way a can email you some questions about your experiences with the process?
