Love me some big winners on Plinko!! Ive noticed from years of watching this, that ppl who use the short drop in the mid-area of the board r the ones who most often hit a $10,000. Unfortunately, most ppl seem to go either on the left or right side, or use the long-drop, which for some reason, always seems to pull the chips over to either side, and keeps them from being pulled back in the middle.....Wish ppl would use the short drop more, that seems to keep the chips in the middle area of the board.....
You are correct and it's actually simple physics. The further away from center the more work the chip has to do to get to $10,000 and the softer the drop the less it bounces and the straighter it falls. The best strategy is to lower it to the center peg and gently let go. I think I've only seen one person get the high amount three times and they used that technique.
