Always hate the ridiculous titles all these channels seem to use... Yeah 100k a month solo dev'ing and can't even show their 100k a year app/saas. All these videos turn into just bait for aspiring devs that are learning and always end up being a sales pitch for something that is not going to make you even 10% of what the video title says.
Most people cant even get to $100K a year on a dev job, even after several years have passed and this guy wants us to believe getting 100K a month is possible, that too as a solo dev. Ridiculous.
I found it interesting that he said they have a framework that he walks his clients through. It would be cool to drill down on that to discuss how he builds confidence in his service with that approach.
This is very informational and insightful just about the business and I love the questions that you’re asking him because it really gives a overview and a description of what was the offer. What did you bill for them? How did you help the client
You need a job before you do freelancing. You need to know the whole process from start to finish. Then try to do it yourself. Experience, technical skills, and soft skills (communications), and legal know how is required for the Freelancing. Correct me if I am wrong here.
Cold email is underrated. I once grew an e-commerce business with cold emails. I’m still getting traffic from those emails 4 years later lol. Imagine if I actually scaled it… wow
13:16 ah so you're the guy running Alif - I talked to one of your friends at S5 irl in SF, Safi, running Ummafy. He talked about you and I forgot about it until you mentioned in here
I hate to admit it, but actually coding is the "easiest" part on a technical business... There is a lot of stuff that are harder than that and now I understand why I struggled for 24 months and couldnt find someone to help me with SALES... A lot of developers want to work for me, but if I can code alone, why hire?
I do have a question so is there a difference between a software engineer versus a software developer because I’m pivoting into tech and I want to become a full stack developer to more work on AI development software development rules versus software engineer ?
Don't understand how he is making 130k/month based on 200$/h rate contract work. 32k/month salary for each employee. Say 20% margin, results in 6k/month profit. Unless he has ~20 AI engineers working on 20 projects simultaneously.
One of the best and most transparent interviews revolved around business I have seen in a while.
The transition from hiring subcontractors to employees is such a delicate process. I'm super curious how Andy handles it over the next 1-2 years.
Dope info bro. You earned a Sub..
10k emails a month is insane. Some awesome gold nuggets here. I think you did a better job interviewing him than I did, haha 🙏🏻
It's not xD
I send that much PER DAY for some of my clients 🤷
@ how do u find so many qualified leads?
@@kailtis Then you're doing it wrong lol. If you're sending out that much, your offer is trash.
@@_alexlazar_At that scale you don't. They find you via advertising, referral, reputation.
This video was very insightful! Wrote a lot of notes here.
GOAT content
the wait is over! 🤝
That cold email sequence ❤😂
Super interesting, this space is wild open rn
I liked the calmness and professionalism of both the guest and the host. Very nice transparent and authentic interview.

It's prob. 130k/month for the whole company/team of 9.
very good interview, thanks man

how is it solo dev if he has 9 employees
yeah. it's a small-scale startup.
Cause this bum does clickbait titles
jxnl you have a great twitter page big fan
I think he started as a solo dev
The title is misleading and click bait

This was great
The generative AI is still a new kid in the blog. I think soon a lot of business will embrace it in their service delivery.
How can I buy crypto. Which app allows to buy with bank transfer. Cuz I can’t with my card in Bahamas

You don’t need to do any of that. But it definitely would help. Personally I had none of that and made it work for myself.
@@null_spacex Steps please?

I am based in Nashville and looking for start-ups here. Are there specific companies he is talking about here?

Where are the email templates please?
13:00 dope tip

Did someone say bot 👀 (10:25)? My bot developer senses are tingling.

Just the feeling as a 3rd gen business owner you’re talking out of your arse but I may be wrong 😂

The two terms are used interchangeably.
Basically the same nowadays
the subject was just "intro" or there's more?

Exactly! Just came into the comments to say this.
don't lie people...if each of you will earn 130K per month for sure will not be here on some low quality video on youtube...
