Really enyoying your videos, glad you're getting more and more followers so this channell lives on! Mt. Seymour reminds me so much of my local trails (Bavaria), I think I see even Spring is similar paced :) Basically every video you post is a asskick out the door!
No one really understands why they built the flowy bike park trail at the top of Dales. The mid/bottom section is a completely different type of trail compared to the top. I would never complain about the time and effort put into a trail build but the top section is super lame, no good roller jumps, just berms. Cool vid
Metro Vancouver (land owner of that part of Seymour) did it without consulting anyone (NSMBA etc.) I think they paid Joyride to do it. Props for investing in trails, and it's pretty well built (although short), just makes zero sense where it is that high on the mountain and dumping into lower Dale (which is an awesome trail in its own right).
The old top section of Dale's was for sure challenging. There was a lot of WTF? Amongst the local riders after the top rebuild, but as I said I would never bitch about trail work. All good
This one gets incredible after you get familiar with it. I ride it a ton and from watching your videos, I think you’d really enjoy it after a few times. Would love to connect for a ride some time. I live in vancouver. Strava: @Rich Scott Instagram: @richscott

Thanks! I do a lot of riding so I figured I’d start filming it too.
Appreciate the great quality of the vids
Thanks!
Made the same decisions on Dales. makes me feel better about myself knowing you did the same.
Nice job showing this trail.
Thanks!

Ya it’s a big change in trail type. I don’t hate it, i just think it’s an interesting choice.

Awesome video! I need to get out there! No shame in playing it safe we don't get paid to get hurt cheers dude!
Ya it’s good to know your limits and when to push them!
Push them when you have a buddy with you at least!
Sick vid!
SWC Films - thanks!
Good call on knowing your limits and taking the shameful walk around. Like you said, you might have avoided a smashed jaw by doing so.
The roll is pretty serious. I’ve actually only seen one rider get it done.
Are you born and raise in Van?
Nope! I’m from Kenora, Ontario. Moved here last September!
Thats sweet! I slept there last year while cycle touring across Canada! Everyone boats to town from their little island very cool place in Canada!

Ya I need to ride this one more often! I think I'll do a group ride one day, maybe when it warms up! ha
Let me know. Happy to rip one with ya.
That didn’t look fun
