In my 73+ years I have lovingly watched every Jesus based film ever made. They soothed my aching heart and I loved every one of them. However, once laying eyes and ears on the Chosen my SOUL is being made ready for the second coming of our Savior. I proclaim the merits of this most monumental series to everyone who will listen. Some put it off and then come back to me and share their sorrows. I gently remind them to Benge Jesus and catch up with the rest of us. Finally, once their hearts are softened they begin to watch. Sure enough they can't stop and they in turn tell others......

I'm Catholic. My grandfather was a Cristero in Jalisco in 1927 who fought against Calles' federales. It's been ingrained in me since I was a toddler but a confluence of two events have brought me back to the Catholic Church in a big way. First, I started watching The Chosen some time in March or April of 2023. It shook my foundation. This program portrays Jesus as a regular person who is relatable and who you never want to disappoint but if you do let Him down, He is always willing to accept you with open arms. Secondly, I went on a weekend convivance at the urging of a priest who is now pastor at the church, St. Francis de Sales in Denver, where I was attending mass. He invited me to The Word, which is held on Tuesdays but I slipped out after it was over because I knew he was going to try and get me to go to the convivance and it cost money and I was barely getting by. Another week goes by and he sees me after mass on a Sunday and says to me "Ramiro, I really want you to go to the convivance. You need to FEEL God's love!" So, I agreed "Yes, Father, I will go. I promise." Anyway, I went and was shocked and amazed at The Eucharist that was held Saturday night. There were kids in their late teens singing at the top of their lungs and people were expressing the pain they were enduring during Echo and there were no judgments. It's called The Way, or The Neocatecumenical Way, started by Kiko Arguello and Carmen Hernandez in Spain in the mid-60's. The next day, Sunday, we went to a local park with Bibles and were told "go to the Book of Matthew and read the sermon on the mount but you're going to do it in silence each person on their own or with one or two other people." I opened The Holy Bible and of all the pages, my fingers and thumb opened right to the first page of the Book of Matthew. Afterwards, I told my catechist about it and his reply was "what do you think God is trying to tell you?" Something to contemplate for sure. So, just yesterday, at Queen of Peace in Aurora, Archbishop Aquila said the mass in honor of the death of Carmen Hernandez (7/19 being the anniversary) with about 30 priests. There must have been two, maybe three thousand people at this Eucharist and we sat with our respective community. I think in total it must've lasted about 3 hours long but after I had this sense of peace and joy and happiness. For the 1st time in my life, I felt saved. I decided I will walk in The Way for the rest of my life. I've become so enlightened and Father Basso was right, I do feel loved by God and it all makes sense. SO, I'm most grateful to Dallas Jenkins, all the actors, writers and crew that work so hard on the show and to Father Basso and the catechists. It's been a little bit of a struggle financially but I heard something in this video that I hadn't caught before. 11:42 "...your Heavenly Father knows you need them all...but seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Bottom line, God comes first. Primero Dios. Thank you, Mr. Dallas. Lo estimo y lo quiero mucho. Que Dios lo bendiga.
Thank you for The Chosen. After 54 years of a hellish life sometimes chosen sometimes imposed upon me The Chosen brought me back to Jesus. I am blessed by God for I choose to follow Him today. God bless you all. 🙏🏻

The sermon on the mountain was very powerful and life changing. How fortunate were them whom able to witness this event and then kept on believing in Him. Thanks to The Chosen team for making it as if it happened not very long time ago. The message is sounding repeatingly over and over. I even repeat the "Our Father prayer" words in my language. @Hope12707 my dearest friend in Christ.. this show is mostly targeting that 1 lost sheep. You (and also would like to humbly include myself) are among the 99 sheep. This show has been reaching out to so many of the 1 lost sheep, and they’re repenting and seeking God now- so we gotta praise God for this miracle and pray for the people doing such ministries like this show.. We as an individual child in Christ, are assigned our own missions/ministries. Taking up a ministry like this itself a big deal, in a world today where the name of the Lord is ridiculed and blasphemous attitudes are normalized . Let us try to love like Jesus. We are falsely accusing the creators and actors as them endorsing any particular community.. But again If Jesus had had this attacking attitude like we are having right now against “the rainbow “ or “catholics” etc; you and I - the former gentiles- would not have rejoiced today in God’s love! We all are sinners, yet God has called us all. FYI He still is calling people in His own chosen time- this show or we could be the channels. We should focus on spreading His teaching and especially be a humble servant and serve and love His children.. We are not above our God, to rebuke and condemn those people, who maybe worthy in His eyes and may soon receive His forgiveness and grace or might already have. Lets pray if any such evil like thing swoops in- to spoil and create havoc in someone’s ministry. Coz its not uncommon for evil to attack. Refer: Hebrews 12: 14-15; Luke 18:9-14; Galatians 5:22-26; Acts 26 15-18. Do not persecute your own brothers and sisters in Christ. Disagreement is good and is one thing, but a whole another thing is to harshly condemn. Theres a thin line between such condemnation and persecution. All we gotta do is pray for the ministry and people who may witness such shows- that they get motivated-take the bible, start reading with all their heart, and later will automatically be convicted by the Holy spirit. I wasn't religious person for many years, I mean I was when I was little girl before my Mom died, then granddad and grandma and dad was an alcoholic through my whole childhood and when I was growing up, now he's not drinking and he wants to stop smoking cigarets and I was angry at God for so long, asking why everything that was bad happened to me since I was little girl? But something in me changed, clicked when I saw in this show Chosen as Jesus healed Veronica I was crying and when he talked with his apostol when he asked Jesus why you didn't heal me? Like this actor or Jesus got to me and through me and I started thinking and seeing myself different and this show reminds me how my Mom read a Bible for children to me every evening, how She prayed with me every morning and evening and we were going to the church together and how She taught me to pray in catholic way even when Mom was Muslim and Mom never prayed in her religion and I never knew why. It reminds me how Mom wanted me to save and have and live with faith in me and for so many years I couldn't and now I just.... I don't know how to understand this or how to express what I feel and what this weird pull is that I'm feeling. Like voice would be saying inside me stop fighting and stop being stubborn, let me guide you, I know You're hurt and angry and You have a right to feel it but it's time to let go and follow and when Jesus in this show told his apostols to follow him, something inside me pulls to do the same. Like Philip said to Matthew with Jesus only Am matters, not our past, mistakes, what kind of person we were and again what I hear and feel is like calling: let go, and I don't know how and it's like I was chosen too, and maybe this is the reason I'm alive. When I was born my heart stopped 2 times, doctors told my Mom that I will not live to the end of the month and when my Mom camed crying to the incubator in which I was lying She saw white character, person with light around this person, and she never knew who it was but She told me about this every year of my birthday. Someone from heaven wanted me to live and chose me and maybe this is the reason too why I see spirits/ghosts and angels.

Masterful from the opening single person and music to the ending words of Jesus. This will stand the test of time and gives us such a beautiful picture of the most powerful "sermon" ever given.
God sent his Son to earth to take away the sins of mankind. Jesus is the Son of God. In the Old Testament, God freed man from sin by sacrificing animals. In the New Testament, God the Father sent his firstborn, Yeshua (Jesus) to earth. Calvary became a sacrifice on the cross by taking the sins and diseases of humans. Jesus is our example. Through Jesus, God teaches how a person should live. So Jesus is not God but the Son of God.
You guys did such a phenomenal job bringing this to life. So beautiful. So blessed this was made in my lifetime. I think god sent you to make this to reach the youth and new generation.

I can't tell you how much i needed this show, and musicians like Dax. For years i was a practicing Norse Pagan. Not because i really believed in it, because i didn't. But because i was ashamed at who i was. I thought that God hated me, and that Jesus was utterly ashamed of me. One of the first scenes i saw of this show is when Little James asked Jesus why he hadn't healed him. My real name is James, but i'm not little. I'm a big guy. I have always been told that i was intimidating because i am big and bald and i look mean but that is the very last thing that i am. I am a very quiet soft spoken man and i have always been the man who would protect you with my very life and walk away never needing a thankyou or an attaboy because that isn't why i do it. But i am depressed still and i am often sad because i don't have anything. I often cry because i can't afford food sometimes and i don't like to ask for help. But, money and material things don't make who i am. My soul and heart is who i am, and that is who you are. I don't know why i am here. Maybe it is because i still love and care for everyone when i should hate the world because of how i've been treated. Maybe God hasn't given me money because i can tell a better story about a person who has nothing yet would never allow someone else to go hungry if it is in my power. I have many faults, and i am still very sad at time and very alone. But i know that i love you. I also know that I owe Jesus Christ not only my worship, but my apology for those who hurt Him. He was blameless. A good man who never sinned and only spoke of love yet they hated Him, tortured Him, and killed Him and STILL said "Lord forgive them, for they know not what they do". He did ALL OF THAT for US. Every day we should be thanking that Man. Now, anyone who even mentions Jesus Christ is labeled as crazy. I have a feeling all real Christians are about to experience persecution, and i'm not looking forward to it because i am not Jesus. I am just a man who fears only God but i know what man is capable for the sake of extremism. We just have to be prepared and always have faith.

It started on the CW network last Sunday, Season 1, Episode 1, and they will broadcast all 3 seasons, I think one episode each week. The Chosen just made the cover of TV Guide after the first episode. And I have a "dumb TV," no streaming or cable, and was able to watch on the CW network (I usually watch it online or on DVD).
Thank you to the cast and crew of The Chosen for making this show available to the WORLD to watch. The Sermon on The Mount scene brings tears to my eyes each time that i watch it because it gives EVERYONE on the planet a glimpse of how LOVED Our Creators's Son is. It also makes YOU KNOW that if 5,000 (I PERSONALLY BELIEVE that it was more than that) traveled from all over the world to see Him then that there are millions who love Him sooooo VERY MUCH now and who follow Him. I am one of those who does. To EVERYONE keep praying, keep believing, keep the faith and NO MATTER WHAT your situation is DON'T EVER GIVE UP. KEEP PUSHING. My favorite part of the bible. I was so upset how season 3 ended because I was excited to see this scene. But when season 4 started I was so happy I was able to watch it on the big screen. It worked out perfectly for me.

I tear up at the oddest moments... The 1st wide shot of the arriving crowd walking over the hill... The private moment of proud mama (Mary) adjusting her son's (Jesus') sash... Judas in the background looking simultaneously eager & slightly ominous as Jesus approaches the stage... The crane shot of Jesus walking through the curtains & the "swoop" over the top of the curtains revealing the 1st view of the assembled crowd... 🙄🙄🙄 😭😭😭
I have the whole series in my hone and have watched now 6 times and as I do am always uplifted knowing how much Christ, Himself had done for his disciples and those who followed Him. @Hope12707 my dearest friend in Christ.. this show is mostly targeting that 1 lost sheep. You (and also would like to humbly include myself) are among the 99 sheep. This show has been reaching out to so many of the 1 lost sheep, and they’re repenting and seeking God now- so we gotta praise God for this miracle and pray for the people doing such ministries like this show.. We as an individual child in Christ, are assigned our own missions/ministries. Taking up a ministry like this itself a big deal, in a world today where the name of the Lord is ridiculed and blasphemous attitudes are normalized . Let us try to love like Jesus. We are falsely accusing the creators and actors as them endorsing any particular community.. But again If Jesus had had this attacking attitude like we are having right now against “the rainbow “ or “catholics” etc; you and I - the former gentiles- would not have rejoiced today in God’s love! We all are sinners, yet God has called us all. FYI He still is calling people in His own chosen time- this show or we could be the channels. We should focus on spreading His teaching and especially be a humble servant and serve and love His children.. We are not above our God, to rebuke and condemn those people, who maybe worthy in His eyes and may soon receive His forgiveness and grace or might already have. Lets pray if any such evil like thing swoops in- to spoil and create havoc in someone’s ministry. Coz its not uncommon for evil to attack. Refer: Hebrews 12: 14-15; Luke 18:9-14; Galatians 5:22-26; Acts 26 15-18. Do not persecute your own brothers and sisters in Christ. Disagreement is good and is one thing, but a whole another thing is to harshly condemn. Theres a thin line between such condemnation and persecution. All we gotta do is pray for the ministry and people who may witness such shows- that they get motivated-take the bible, start reading with all their heart, and later will automatically be convicted by the Holy spirit. I wasn't religious person for many years, I mean I was when I was little girl before my Mom died, then granddad and grandma and dad was an alcoholic through my whole childhood and when I was growing up, now he's not drinking and he wants to stop smoking cigarets and I was angry at God for so long, asking why everything that was bad happened to me since I was little girl?
But something in me changed, clicked when I saw in this show Chosen as Jesus healed Veronica I was crying and when he talked with his apostol when he asked Jesus why you didn't heal me?
Like this actor or Jesus got to me and through me and I started thinking and seeing myself different and this show reminds me how my Mom read a Bible for children to me every evening, how She prayed with me every morning and evening and we were going to the church together and how She taught me to pray in catholic way even when Mom was Muslim and Mom never prayed in her religion and I never knew why. It reminds me how Mom wanted me to save and have and live with faith in me and for so many years I couldn't and now I just.... I don't know how to understand this or how to express what I feel and what this weird pull is that I'm feeling. Like voice would be saying inside me stop fighting and stop being stubborn, let me guide you, I know You're hurt and angry and You have a right to feel it but it's time to let go and follow and when Jesus in this show told his apostols to follow him, something inside me pulls to do the same.
Like Philip said to Matthew with Jesus only Am matters, not our past, mistakes, what kind of person we were and again what I hear and feel is like calling: let go, and I don't know how and it's like I was chosen too, and maybe this is the reason I'm alive. When I was born my heart stopped 2 times, doctors told my Mom that I will not live to the end of the month and when my Mom camed crying to the incubator in which I was lying She saw white character, person with light around this person, and she never knew who it was but She told me about this every year of my birthday. Someone from heaven wanted me to live and chose me and maybe this is the reason too why I see spirits/ghosts and angels.
The Chosen is a wonderful series. Thank you to all who were a part of it. I see Jesus in a really intriguing way. It’s very special.

God sent his Son to earth to take away the sins of mankind. Jesus is the Son of God. In the Old Testament, God freed man from sin by sacrificing animals. In the New Testament, God the Father sent his firstborn, Yeshua (Jesus) to earth. Calvary became a sacrifice on the cross by taking the sins and diseases of humans. Jesus is our example. Through Jesus, God teaches how a person should live. So Jesus is not God but the Son of God.
You guys did such a phenomenal job bringing this to life. So beautiful. So blessed this was made in my lifetime. I think god sent you to make this to reach the youth and new generation.

Powerful, no matter how many times I see this.
I can't tell you how much i needed this show, and musicians like Dax. For years i was a practicing Norse Pagan. Not because i really believed in it, because i didn't. But because i was ashamed at who i was. I thought that God hated me, and that Jesus was utterly ashamed of me. One of the first scenes i saw of this show is when Little James asked Jesus why he hadn't healed him. My real name is James, but i'm not little. I'm a big guy. I have always been told that i was intimidating because i am big and bald and i look mean but that is the very last thing that i am. I am a very quiet soft spoken man and i have always been the man who would protect you with my very life and walk away never needing a thankyou or an attaboy because that isn't why i do it. But i am depressed still and i am often sad because i don't have anything. I often cry because i can't afford food sometimes and i don't like to ask for help. But, money and material things don't make who i am. My soul and heart is who i am, and that is who you are. I don't know why i am here. Maybe it is because i still love and care for everyone when i should hate the world because of how i've been treated. Maybe God hasn't given me money because i can tell a better story about a person who has nothing yet would never allow someone else to go hungry if it is in my power. I have many faults, and i am still very sad at time and very alone. But i know that i love you. I also know that I owe Jesus Christ not only my worship, but my apology for those who hurt Him. He was blameless. A good man who never sinned and only spoke of love yet they hated Him, tortured Him, and killed Him and STILL said "Lord forgive them, for they know not what they do". He did ALL OF THAT for US. Every day we should be thanking that Man. Now, anyone who even mentions Jesus Christ is labeled as crazy. I have a feeling all real Christians are about to experience persecution, and i'm not looking forward to it because i am not Jesus. I am just a man who fears only God but i know what man is capable for the sake of extremism. We just have to be prepared and always have faith.

It started on the CW network last Sunday, Season 1, Episode 1, and they will broadcast all 3 seasons, I think one episode each week. The Chosen just made the cover of TV Guide after the first episode. And I have a "dumb TV," no streaming or cable, and was able to watch on the CW network (I usually watch it online or on DVD).

Thank you to the cast and crew of The Chosen for making this show available to the WORLD to watch. The Sermon on The Mount scene brings tears to my eyes each time that i watch it because it gives EVERYONE on the planet a glimpse of how LOVED Our Creators's Son is. It also makes YOU KNOW that if 5,000 (I PERSONALLY BELIEVE that it was more than that) traveled from all over the world to see Him then that there are millions who love Him sooooo VERY MUCH now and who follow Him. My favorite part of the bible. I was so upset how season 3 ended because I was excited to see this scene. But when season 4 started I was so happy I was able to watch it on the big screen. It worked out perfectly for me.
