As of late, nail polish has become somewhat popular for men in India. Most seem to prefer a clear coat, but others go with colors. I suppose it's just a fashion trend, possibly with cultural, religious, or even hygiene-related undertones. Let us never forget that Stevie Ray Vaughn always had a clear coat on his fingernails to help protect his fingers from the incredible abuse he inflicted on them. When the flesh would literally pull away from his fingernails, he would use Super Glue to re-attach the detached flesh. I cannot imagine the pain involved. Also, when the seemingly impenetrably thick callouses on his fretting hand would split open and bleed, he'd put a drop or two of Super Glue on his inner forearm, hold his injured finger firmly in place on his inner forearm on the Super Glue, wait for the Super Glue to dry, and then tear his finger away from his inner forearm, tearing the skin off and giving his split finger what he called "the finger patch trick". I don't know if you've ever tried to play string gauges like this: .013 - .015 - .019p - .028 - .038 - .058, but outside of Jazz, it's unheard of. Try and bend a .13 high E up one or two steps and keep a bandage handy; there will likely be a fair amount of blood. Rock on, Santosh!

Massage has nothing to do with Reiki. This might be some other technique, but Reiki it's definitely not.

Touch is not necessary in Reiki although some clients prefer and ask for it. Is there a name for the technique shown in the video? I'm curious about all kinds of energy work.

I didn't doubt that. All I'm saying is that the massage shown in this video has nothing to do with Reiki (Japanese Usui Reiki).

Why say something like that? There are multiple practitioners in every profession essentially doing the same things but in their own ways. It isn't a competition. It is a service and if there is a demand for service then more people will enter into it.
