T Diller , J Hostettler , J McMahon , M Rypian, it doesn't take a hall of fame Quarterback to win the super bowl . Schedule , coaching , defense , and plain old luck can get you the ring . Give Rivers a good defense , not best defense stat wise , but a Ravens defense like Dilfer r got and Rivers would have a ring . The Chargers let the corner back position go in the draft for a few years . That in itself has hurt the bolts.
John Langit Marino was one of the best quarterbacks for sure. Terry Bradshaw has 4 super bowl rings (I started watching the NFL in 1980, so I missed most of Bradshaws games) There's not anybody who has seriously followed football the last 40 years who has Bradshaw above Marino. Elway could easily have been on the greatest QB to not win a super bowl (Terrell Davis helped him out) . Rivers first year starting was his best chance , Marlon Mcree fumbled a Tom Brady pick, then the defense gives up a bomb down the sideline. Rivers led the bolts down the field in the last 30 seconds , but Nate Kadeing misses (the first of many playoff misses for him ) the field goal to end the game . It takes a total team effort ( front office , coaching , players) to win the Lombardi .
Randy Jones i was at that game. so many uncharacteristic mistakes made that game. marty going for it on 4th down, drayton florence headbutting grahm(that was a 3rd down stop and the penalty gave them a 1st down and they got 3 or 6 i forgot but that was definitely a turning point) and parker muffing that punt. smh.
Phillip rivers is a top 3 quarter back. These last two years he's been better than ever and no doubt he is better than his draft class. I don't remember if rothlisburger was already ranked but if he gets higher than rivers I'm going to be pissed.
man I love our qb , super smart , passionate he's a gun slinger with accuracy and if u protect him well he will eat u up ...now he got the teams he's finally been waiting for on both sides of the ball with depth ...nice , bolt up he's definitely top 5 qb
It's the past. We got a bunch of good receivers anyway. Allen is my favorite Charger anyway and he'll definitely have a bounce back year. Plus I can't wait to see what Stevie and Jacoby can do.
Samuel Wu They're great recievers, but they usually specialize in a specific component in the receiving game, while Vincent Jackson was the best well-rounded receiver, he could go deep, as well as make plays on short passes.
Not a chargers fan, but if I had the choice to chose any current QB to drive my team 90yds, down by 4 with 3 minutes left, I'd choose Rivers every single time. He's a gamer.
+Wolve dude how can he not he threw for like 30 touchdowns with like third string receivers, wood head, and gates for like 8 weeks. I've gotta say I hate him but he's so good.
Zeshan M Husain I think he is elite with a decent o line. However you can't say he should make the list on what ifs. His production was not good enough for the list, even though it wasn't his fault.
+Wolve he had third and fourth string o linemen and he had amazing stats. His production with what he was surrounded with this season is incredible. Honestly It was sad and rivers kept sd in the game all day long
To everybody that is talking trash in the comments about how Philip Rivers sucks, you guys should probably look at you're quarterback's success against the Seahawks. I guarantee it wasn't as good as Philip's game. You might bring up his 18 interceptions. Fair enough but his receivers were banged up all season. FIVE CENTERS!!!!!! When everybody was healthy we were 5-1 and that one loss was an 18-17 loss on the road to the very talented Arizona Cardinals. He's as good as anyone in this league.
Rivers is a beast , he never had the big weapons and o-line Cuz our old g.m got rid of talent before he got to sign them lol he was the reason our team fell apart but now with our new regime 3rd yr in ohh man were looking great and the way rivers reads defenses and tare them up ohh man he's a beast I believe he will win us a ring the way were looking now ..watch us ..BOLT UP !!! ⚡⚡⚡
AJ Smith might not have been popular in San Diego , but from a fan from Mississippi who has followed the bolts since 1980 I gotta say that AJ did about as good a job as any . The only mistakes he made was drafting Larry English instead of Clay Matthews or Ray Maluga , and when he drafted Buster Posey lol
Rivers is great! How many teams would love to have him. Obviously every team in the AFC west. Ur fooling itself if u don't agree. Great QB 619 SD pride!
A black hole is a mathematically defined region of spacetime exhibiting such a strong gravitational pull that no particle or electromagnetic radiation can escape from it.[1] The theory of general relativity predicts that a sufficiently compact mass can deform spacetime to form a black hole.[2] The boundary of the region from which no escape is possible is called the event horizon. Although crossing the event horizon has enormous effect on the fate of the object crossing it, it appears to have no locally detectable features. In many ways a black hole acts like an ideal black body, as it reflects no light.[3][4] Moreover, quantum field theory in curved spacetime predicts that event horizons emit Hawking radiation, with the same spectrum as a black body of a temperature inversely proportional to its mass. This temperature is on the order of billionths of a kelvin for black holes of stellar mass, making it essentially impossible to observe. Objects whose gravitational fields are too strong for light to escape were first considered in the 18th century by John Michell and Pierre-Simon Laplace. The first modern solution of general relativity that would characterize a black hole was found by Karl Schwarzschild in 1916, although its interpretation as a region of space from which nothing can escape was first published by David Finkelstein in 1958. Long considered a mathematical curiosity, it was during the 1960s that theoretical work showed black holes were a generic prediction of general relativity. The discovery of neutron stars sparked interest in gravitationally collapsed compact objects as a possible astrophysical reality. Black holes of stellar mass are expected to form when very massive stars collapse at the end of their life cycle. After a black hole has formed, it can continue to grow by absorbing mass from its surroundings. By absorbing other stars and merging with other black holes, supermassive black holes of millions of solar masses (M☉) may form. There is general consensus that supermassive black holes exist in the centers of most galaxies. Despite its invisible interior, the presence of a black hole can be inferred through its interaction with other matter and with electromagnetic radiation such as visible light. Matter falling onto a black hole can form an accretion disk heated by friction, forming some of the brightest objects in the universe. If there are other stars orbiting a black hole, their orbit can be used to determine its mass and location. Such observations can be used to exclude possible alternatives (such as neutron stars). In this way, astronomers have identified numerous stellar black hole candidates in binary systems, and established that the radio source known as Sgr A*, at the core of our own Milky Way galaxy, contains a supermassive black hole of about 4.3 million M☉.
He was injured last season so for like the last 5 weeks his only good receiver was gates and Inman. But know he has James Jones , Hunter Henry , Kennan Allen , Gates and Travis Benjamin
ScubaStevo99 How many times has P Rivers led the league in turnovers ? I'm not sure that he has ever led the NFL in turnovers . Maybe you're referring to Eli Manning .
Theres nothing brady and manning can teach him! he just never had the offensive line pass protection like brady and manning had over the years, guys on the same level as them!
This list is voted on by NFL players themselves. Each player lists their top ~20 players and the votes get tallied up and that's how this list is created
Rivers is wasting his career in san diego. This is the guy who tears his acl... plays the next week in the afc title game meanwhile im stuck with a guy who suffers a mcl sprain and couldnt even gut out a scnd half, yet hes on a bicycle all half. That just aint right.
MegaPS3Gamer Kap is in your top ten.... So your implying kap is better then Matt ryan Matthew Stafford Cam Newton and tony romo? Russell wilson isn't better then Joe flacco and eli isnt better then big ben...
Philip Rivers= The biggest crybaby in the NFL other than Tom Brady. 💯 I hope he's ready to run this season because the fearsome threesome is comin Miller, Ware & Ray.
Probably one of the most underrated QB's in the NFL today
Probably the best quarterback without a championship
T Diller , J Hostettler , J McMahon , M Rypian, it doesn't take a hall of fame Quarterback to win the super bowl . Schedule , coaching , defense , and plain old luck can get you the ring . +AJ Delaney Dan Marino
Underrated, coming from a Broncos fan. Rivers have no no.1 receiver, feel bad for Rivers.
That's right . Give D Thomas to the Bolts . We could use the help.
I'll give you D Thomas and you guys give us 3 1st RD draft picks in return
They have Keenan Allen but he's always injured
DeAndre Jackson The bolts need to draft a decent receiver to go with Allen .
Phillip rivers is a top 3 quarter back. These last two years he's been better than ever and no doubt he is better than his draft class. I don't remember if rothlisburger was already ranked but if he gets higher than rivers I'm going to be pissed.
SAN DIEGO
SUPER CHARGERS! ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
LA 😭
He should be a lot higher on the list. Brilliant QB 👌
Agreed
preach
most underrated QB ever
man I love our qb , super smart , passionate he's a gun slinger with accuracy and if u protect him well he will eat u up ...now he got the teams he's finally been waiting for on both sides of the ball with depth ...nice , bolt up he's definitely top 5 qb
Wish he could still pass to Vincent Jackson.
***** lol what?
***** right, sure. You guys are glad we still don't have Vincent Jackson, we all know he'd tear up your defense.
***** I guess lol. We weren't that much better this past season either.
How is he 43? Are you kidding me he should top 20 at least
Your stupid
Deonte Long cheater.
Top 20 are you kidding me? He ain't even top 5 quarterbacks in the league
Ramin Michaels tom brady cheater? how?
Deonte Long Actually, I think "you're" the stupid one.
I love me some Rivers.
Not a chargers fan, but if I had the choice to chose any current QB to drive my team 90yds, down by 4 with 3 minutes left, I'd choose Rivers every single time. He's a gamer.
This year he should be at least top 20
hahahahhahahaha

Zeshan M Husain lol that's what I meant. He played great with THE WORST passing o-line. However, his production wasn't enough for the TOP 100
I like Philip Rivers, good talent and good arm
To everybody that is talking trash in the comments about how Philip Rivers sucks, you guys should probably look at you're quarterback's success against the Seahawks. I'm root for this guy all day lol. bolt up
Should be higher. Definitely top 30.
Rivers is great! How many teams would love to have him. Obviously every team in the AFC west. Ur fooling itself if u don't agree. Great QB 619 SD pride!
Except for the Broncos
They should make a top 100 players of nba
+Eleni Heruy that would be like every starting player in the NBA. Probably make it a top 20.
How did he fall when he had one of the best seasons in his whole career wit no offensive line or receivers....
I always thought Philip Rivers was one of the quiet ones.
Thats my QB!
I can’t believe people think Rivers is a bad qb
The Giants really got a steal with the Eli Manning trade in the 04 draft
Oh I'm sorry, who has 2 Super Bowl rings?
Not you ^
With the way the giants defense had played, I think rivers could've lead the giants to 2 Super Bowls (winning them is a different story)
FrostmasterXXX Implying football isn't a team sport.
I'm a Giants fan and I like Eli, but I think Rivers is better.
@ 2:16 enough said, you know he's good when d ware says he's good
Rivers is 5-6 against the Ravens, has a chance to change that this year
Chargers
"its like hes good" lol
What's the song at 2:17?
"y'all think that's a good blitz?" LOL
What has he done?
What has he achieved?
go chargers

He was injured last season so for like the last 5 weeks his only good receiver was gates and Inman. But know he has James Jones , Hunter Henry , Kennan Allen , Gates and Travis Benjamin
Peyton manning, Aaron Rogers, and Andrew luck are best qbs in league
Jordan Scott you forgot the goat the superbowl mvp and 4x world champion. tom brady
FrostmasterXXX who the heck do you like as a QB then ?
ScubaStevo99 How many times has P Rivers led the league in turnovers ? I'm not sure that he has ever led the NFL in turnovers . Maybe you're referring to Eli Manning .
my favorite qb needs a ring
They can score 30 against the Seahawks but 0 against the Dolphins...
Who you rather have Cutler or Rivers???
Rivers
devious141 Rivers easy!
devious141 Tbh Cutler, because the offense I would run would have more QB running plays.
devious141 Rivers easily
devious141 how can someone even ask that question? WTF
Theres nothing brady and manning can teach him! he just never had the offensive line pass protection like brady and manning had over the years, guys on the same level as them!
How the fuck is phillip rivers ranked ahead of clay matthews?Clay matthews needs to be top 20 the top 100 list is fucked up its so bad.
Clay didn't do good this year
This list is voted on by NFL players themselves. Each player lists their top ~20 players and the votes get tallied up and that's how this list is created
Because of the position and he's better
Rick M What if I told you Clay is kind of overrated.
He should be rank 17 bc he mr. 17
ELI>Philip
Rivers is wasting his career in san diego.
This is the guy who tears his acl... plays the next week in the afc title game
meanwhile im stuck with a guy who suffers a mcl sprain and couldnt even gut out a scnd half, yet hes on a bicycle all half. That just aint right.
Bears fan huh? Same

You can't really be scared of an opposing QB.....as a QB
How is Philip even in the top 100. He's not even on my top 10 qbs.
Who do you even have ranked in your Top 10 QBs? There's no way Rivers isn't Top 10.
1.aaron Rodgers
2.peyton manning
3Eli manning
4.tom Brady
5.big Ben
6.drew Brees
7.russel Wilson
8. Joe flacco
9.andrew luck
10.colin kapernick

Turner gill Russell Wilson is Better then Eli manning
Don't compare that choke artist to the Great Eli Manning
FrostmasterXXX Choke artist? watch the Green Bay, Seattle game if you want to see a choke artist at work.
+frostmaster then how come rivers was ranked higher?
First or not 😨
Philip Rivers= The biggest crybaby in the NFL other than Tom Brady. 💯 I hope he's ready to run this season because the fearsome threesome is comin Miller, Ware & Ray.
