Im pretty sure if shyfoox was putting back the old models people would say ‘’too simple’’ ‘’blocky’’ or ‘’not enough accessories’’

I myself simply miss the old dragons’ life because that’s what everyone was used to. Sure, I felt it was a little simple and wasn’t the biggest fan of it but also loved it. The unique yet simple designs, the lovely map and entertaining role plays. I miss it because now that it’s gone, I’ll never see it again. It had many memories, and now that they made it to fit people’s expectations, everyone is upset due to them already being used to the old one.

well, the flying animation is a lil wonky but thats all i got to complain aboot, anyways, you just earned a sub and a like there was a very old map, it had a school and it was great, when it updated, the map got different and i had difficulties liking it there are game the have insane devs that make really good animations, some games like dragons adventure and griffins destiny and creatures of sonaria(all made by sonar studios) have amazing devs and i can see if the dragons life devs learn from the sonar studios devs, the game will rise once again to its former glory

This is a big yes from the old version and I remember being bored as heck when making old ocs but now it’s like-just-……..good.
OML YOU ARE SO UNDERRATED!! But hopefully they’re gonna make a new design for the map! I love the map rn, but I feel like it could match the new dragons (a bit more realistic!- I’m not putting pressure onto the developers though! They’ve already did such a good job!)
AHHHHH THANK YOU!!! They actually are making a new design for the map. Shyfoox has been working on it tirelessly, so hopefully something good comes out of it. That’s a good way to look at it! :-)
This new update is awesome! I haven’t played in two years since a lot of younger kids would power play, but I went back on yesterday and was amazed. I did spend a lot of robux on the game before the update and was a bit upset about not getting a refund, but I might just spend robux on it again lol
Have you tried their discord server? I believe they have a help channel to get you refunded! It is pretty good, I was on yesterday as well 😂
In my opinion the update is decent it's not good but not bad either, however I somewhat agree on some situations or rumors of Shy Being greedy or scamming players of their money, which she is technically, For the accessories I find it unfair how some stuff you gotta pay for especially the horns,etc as you said It's kind of a pay to win if thought about it but can't complain. I can't even enter the game I only got to enter it once since I use mobile but idk of what else. Overall tho Id say the dragons life update is average
Definitely. I don’t like people who go around trashing on the game but there are DEFINITELY some hiccups for the community. I think that the horns should also be free, but I’m hoping that with development and constructive criticism, something can be done about it. It’s difficult since for mobile players the game can be really difficult to play. You don’t need to buy any of the cosmetics obviously but I do think they are a bit pricey (even if they do only get 70%)

How can people possibly complain about how cosmetics are named
DOES THAT MATTERS FOR THE GAMEPLAY
this is just my personal opinion as an animator, i do find that the stiffness of the animations does feel a like there was not much work put into them. I will note that I am unfamiliar with roblox animation files/restraints/options, or if there's even interpolation mode options between keyframes (i assume not since most if not all anims seem to have a linear interpolation which is interesting to me). However, I do feel like a bit more work could be put into polishing what appears to be fairly barebones keyframing. I'm not saying that they are bad, and I certainly hope that people are not saying/criticizing so without any constructive input whatsoever, but, as is true with many things, it could be better.
I agree completely. My whole stance is “don’t hate the game just to hate it”, I do believe there are things that could be done better and this animation with flying DID get updated, but we can only wait for the future to see how they decide to update it or if they decide to. There is an animation which is something, but yes, overall, could definitely use some polishing. It’s in the early stages of the new update though so let’s hope for some good things to come out of it!
The update itself is great! Yes there are odd stuff but remember that shy is still gonna update. I do have complains but overall im happy with it. I would pick this version of the game over the past one. As for the map i do want it changed and i hope it will look as good as the one in wolves life for example ( but with more fantasy ) but i can wait, i dont think shy is gonna give up on the map, she said in the bio of the game that shes updating it.

I feel like the older audiences complain about the game and forget about using their imagination or forget that the game is a fantasy. It’s mostly a kids game and the older audiences are complaining about mostly “logical” stuff. In fantasy, there is not logic and there are no boundaries. If you want a well-detailed complicated game, play a more mature game, it’s not that hard.
I agree with you completely. Not only that, but the game is going through update stages. People need to have patience when it comes to these types of things. After all, it is just a roblox game!
I Haven't played dragon life for like a couple years, when I came back to see what changed, I was stunned with the new look, I like the new update but it just didn't have the same feeling it use to have, so I left like 2 min after i joined 🤷♂️.
The game is a bit buggy with mobile customization but besides that it is a great game, the shadows are amazing and with shaders it makes the graphics a look like a whole different game

It’s so wrong to hate on a game that is IN A WORK IN PROGRESS. if people keep on doing this Shyfoox will lose motivation and maybe will never update this game again. Everyone, stop complaining about dragons life. We all understand that you all hate the update, but that’s your opinion. It just makes the people that hate the update look like karens. Hi!! First of all, many thanks. I appreciate you ❤️. On the other hand I agree, at the end of the day, we’re all people! I do believe the update has some wonky things but blatantly complaining without a real reason is wrong. People have extremely good reasonings to why they dislike the update, but making needlessly rude or hurtful comments does not change the fact that the game is in progress. It takes time!

I played this a lot back in 2020, I haven’t played since the update since I’m pretty upset that my Ocs were removed cause I did spend a lotta time on them. I never played since but I will not blame anyone, they had an improvement however I may not ever play it again because I probs just wanna think of it first, I may join but not rp and such but just see the improvements and others, I may also answer new players questions. I’m still thinking though because I shifted to a diff rp game based on cats, overall I can see from this video it had a big improvement. *Damn the nostalgia hit hard-*

I love dragons life, I remember playing it 24/7 with my friends. And me personally, I don't think it's right to hate on something right away. The devs are definitely trying their best.

I like the old lay out better but I like the characters in this update better, ppl are so creative and I love to see what people come up with!

The only complaint I have is my old skins were deleted( I had a lot of favs )

That game is good before the revamp. I mean, yes it has bugs. But the old map has so many secret places that make the roleplay fun. Overall, the revamp is good, I guess.

i bought void element back in the old days of the game but now i can't equip it all it says is "you've already purchased this item"
Try joining a different server for the game. Sometimes it does that with the glowing eyes as well. If it persists, join the discord and report the bug. Let me know if that helps!

On mobile you're basically a flying fidget spiner. Basically the dragon rotates slower on mobile making it Weird to fly

The game update is great, it's just that when they updated it, all my oc's got reset.
I think most were upset with that, but luckily it gives you the power to update and make the OCs even nicer! I wish the devs gave a warning though… it was a bit messy 😂

Love the new models! Except the new fly animation kind of looks like the dragons are struggling to fly, and the new models look too much like furries and may confuse kids whether this is a traditional dragon. Also the old music was pure nostalgia. Otherwise this update is amazing!

The old dragons life had so much love and so many ppl played it but the new one only role players play it and it doesn't have much demand anymore they added the old one back into a dif game but it has LOTS of bugs
If you miss the old game it’s still available, the game is called “dragons’ life Legacy” a few hundreds of people play it!

I'm have a problem with animation it looks so stiff and wings arent that flappy so it looks like ur flying with cardboard and they shuold add diversity to dragons like different shapes of wing and body type becous I want more choices

Old version was better because dragons life was like a rp or chat game for peoples. Not a level game. There was only 2 gamepass. It made game sempatic because players only come game for fun. Not for level uping or looking race. We were happy with old version.(I am not fan. But I love dragons life. Just wanted to say my idea.)

2:46 thats a bad argument, you did the classic “wEll If U cAn Do BeTtEr Do IT” and the flying animation is derpy, and not at all a proper dive this is one of my few complaints about this update the flying is just derpy 🤔. I like the other animations though.
4:12 Infact alot of your arguments to peoples complaints are just “WeLl U tRy aNd dO iT” I also agree with the opposition saying we need a new map simply looking at the trees and saying all the different types is dumb, and doesn’t push for creativity and improvement. The trees could be better. They have a low poly design and don’t blend in with the terrain. Actually as a matter of fact THEY CLASH with the terrain. Map making is fairly difficult but not as much as your making it out to be.
I appreciate the feedback! Again, this video was just my opinion on things. I do agree with the fact that there is a LOT that needs to be fixed. My issue with it was the way people were talking about it or discussing their feelings. Saying the game sucks just because it’s under heavy development is something I don’t agree with. I think my point still stands with doing it better. If you honest-to-god make maps, then you know it can be difficult working out the details. Animations could be worked out but again…it’s a roblox game. The developers do tend to fix it eventually, but I wish it did too.
My arguments were more of “well, if you’re going to complain about it, do it yourself and learn.” The new map is on its way, which is why it’s not necessary to argue about it. It’s not just the map making, it’s all the coding, scripts, and other levels of design that come into play while still designing the other games they’ve got separately. I do think there should be more contribution, but I’m saying it’s unreasonable to be so harsh about something we decide to play or spend money on.
@@efferusminerva I agree this update was very nice but I still have my criticisms, I don’t think the game sucks just that it’s incomplete and that is a completely fair criticism of a game. I don’t believe in hating the developers either, but I do want to mention that she did neglect dragons life for A LONG TIME before this update came out. Ironic considering this is her most popular game. But Im happy she finally got around to it her and the team.
And people that hate the game I disagree with since this game is free to play which is quite the bargain especially since its still under heavy development. And most games put a paywall up but she didn’t which I appreciate.
