Looking great, that rear rack is what many riders have been waiting for, proper solid stuff, engine guards very well made too. That's going to be one awesome adventure machine👍😎..... Harry
You are doing a fabulous job on the Himi. Nothing too superfluous, but all worthwhile mods. If I didn`t already have one i`d be right in there trying to win it!!
Coming together nicely... not sure about basher for a name though. I think donkey, mule or ox seems a bit more fitting seeing how its named after the Himalayan mountains haha
I like highway pegs.. I think I would put on highway pegs myself. 😂 Crash Guards always give me a place to stretch out my legs with folding pegs on them.
Hello Mark, a great job on fitting the Crash Bars it worth it to protect the bike. Its looking so good and I hope I can win it! Thanks Mark; David...Adelaide...Tiger 900GT & Scrambler ..... nice
I have been waiting to see what that rear rack looks like. I would be interested to see how the luggage sits on that rack. I don’t want to put big pannier racks on my Himmie and this rack has given me another option.
What's your thoughts on the SRC crash bars compared to the Givi set? I am torn between the two myself, Givi is the cheaper one but the SRC set looks great, they also look like they would give some protection to the riders feet? At least you have an SRC shop in Aus, here in Canada I have to go to the U.S. and pay the exchange rate.....which is currently shit !! Great job on the upgrades !!
on the back rack thing, the only reason I would not put on a good rack (like the SRC one you are showing, which looks really good) is that I`d want to think about the weight getting added to the top / back of the bike. It is a heavy bike but with a low centre of gravity. So I`d want to try keep the weight low. However if you are happy for the weight to be added in that location, then that looks an excellent product. The stock the rack on the bike is small, its hard to fit much top luggage to. So if you need top luggage, an upgrade is definitely required. However, maybe a small rack makes you get inventive (gotcha straps??). I think, by using the front racks and adding pannier ranks, that can make a lot of sense = low down weight with extra storage. Any thoughts??
Love your videos, especially "Bloody this! Bloody that! " and "bugger!"
That Himalaya is starting to look good. Those bars have made a huge difference..👍
Looks great Mark 👍👍I’ve put a small bit of rubber around the oil pipe to stop it rubbing against that bolt. 😊

Nice rack! Forgot the lift, forgot the lights. Make sure you don't forget the bike next vid
Definitely sounding better without that baffle 👌🏼

Best looking set of crash bars I think I have ever seen on a bike! BTW Mark , I found out we have Forma motorcycle boots here in the States.
Love the beefy look on those bars!
Excellent build Mark - All the extras look awesome !
Awesome build mate. 🍻
She's certainly come up looking a treat 👍
Just fitted a crash bar to mine, A$204 delivered from India, got a top box from Amazon, A$370, came with the bottom mounting plate like yours.
Good prices on the bars SRC they look great too, brilliant Mark.
pretty sure the 01 on the tank is in reference to 1901 - when Royal Enfield stated operations
Tony sells good quality crash bars. Best around.

The"01" refers (I think) to 1901 the year RE was founded back in England :D

Awesome mods but my OH panniers won't fit this. Wish I had this back rack...👍
brillant stuff mate
Are you planning on doing a big offroad test when the new Himalayan 450 comes out? I hope so!
Definitely will be testing it out and hopefully be able to do a big off-road test.
The 01 is from the company starting in 1901
Some lucky bloke is gonna hit the jackpot with this giveaway. 🍀
Wooden blocks or short wooden rods, make good bash in items

Brilliant! 👍
It looks good, but it needs some colour graphics

Nothing wrong with the Givi ones at all. I like the look of the new design SRC ones and yeah I think you might be right about the protection to feet.

She's gonna look mean with Barkbusters. Maybe in red?
Do I bloody win a bloody prize if I guess what all the bloody red and bloody green circles and bloody asterisks actually mean? 😅
Here in India you would have gotten the same products for under 250dollar
Hey Mark, never bang the end of a spanner with your palm, it’s reported to be the primary cause of Carpal tunnel in males who work with tools!!!!
Oh wow... Never heard that before! Thanks 👍
Alex… that makes a great deal of sense !
(For me, your post came 55 years too late ! 🤦♂️😂)
That's a very long video for installing a rack and crash bars. How about some time stamps.......
Mark when are going to get a ball peen hammer and stop using a bloody claw hammer?
These accessories are so cheap compared to BMW and KTM.
