If a 10k player use 8k smurf and got matched with 8ks average, what would happen? And people who smurf usually doesn't even try to win if their role got stolen, resulting in a not so fun match and mmr loss
If you queued on your 10k acc, at least there would be a similar mmr (10k) on the other team. If you went on an 8k smurf, suddenly theyre missing a good core and game is much easier. Imagine an archon average game, but your enemy carry is ancient every time, while you get a normal archon carry on your team. You think these games are fair? Cause the same mmr difference ia even greater between an 8k and a 10k
Bearing in mind there at people over 10k mmr and there are professional players who are known to smurf in lower immortal. It is an issue. Maybe not a massive one. But an issue none the less. You've got to also understand the skill gap between rank 1000 players and rank 100 players is the same skill gap between 2k and 4k players. Hence why even topson has sounded annoyed when his carry is rank 900 or something

No. 10k will not normally be matched with 8k.
