This insane creature, called the beast, is definitely worth the money. Even if you're not skilled like this dude and have no beach nearby were it is allowed to have a little fun, the power this machine offers at any time and in any situation is so overwelming that I always have a "little" facial paralysis (grinning) when I ride my wi... ah my bike. So it is sometimes difficult to speak to police officer, if he could catch me... ;-) And of course, one of the best vid's so far!!!

I've got 25k on the earlier version of the 1290SA. Absolute beast of a machine. Not so sure about the new headlight design, but I love watching what riders, way more skilled that I am, can do with them.
Best bike on earth ;-) I just did a trip crossing the Alps. The engine allways has more, more, more. Tarmac, Gravel and cobble stones the trail attack 2 did it all. Finaly I reached 225 on german autobahn +++++ very nice vid
About to take one from San Francisco to north Alaska. I'm certain it'll handle everything brilliantly, including dirt, while being superbike fast and comfortable. I use my bikes as transportation year-round. Anyone who doesn't get these is looking at them as a weekend toy, not as a primary vehicle that can do anything you ask of it at manic speeds, comfortably. There literally is NO car equivalent at any price, which is justification enough for this gem to exist. Thank you KTM!
My bike would do that if the keyless ignition worked and I knew how much fuel was in it. Sadly, I own a ktm so I always pray my bike starts and I ride on "empty".
How the hell do you wheely this bike? Mine literally won't let you wheelie. Electronics say noooooo. Even in off road mode it won't. Nanny state electronics.

when is it going to be the day that KTM uses covers filled with silicone? that would be a breakthrough for the entire KTM motorcycle line, puncture a wheel is possible, but the KTM group have to have this new bike for motorcycles like the KTM 1290 super adventure R
More like the trophy truck of the bike world that doubles as a GT-R fast DD that's easy to live with, but one could be forgiven for the association if one hasn't ridden on in anger.
They've been as reliable as any 2017-onward bike. I average 30,000 miles yearly on my bikes(combined), so I did a ton of research before pulling the trigger on mine. Key fob can be an issue if software isn't updated and the thing runs hot, but only because motorcycle. Got my 18 for 4,000-USD off sticker in 19, which puts it in the same price range as the average new Japanese ADV bike. I have done extensive touring on an older GS and Honda VFR (loved both), so this is not my first rodeo. Cheers.

La mas adelantada en tecnología y la mas cara del mercado y tiene detalles que solo un buen diseñador los encontraría !!! tengo el ojo afiladisimo para encontrar errores, pero nadie los aprecia !!!

Nice - I wonder why the ST2 is fitted on the S if the contis are that good - and I prefer the feedback from the contis based on the SA (2016) and SA S I have ridden.
Love the fact they sell you the idea of an adventure bike, showing you it on possibly the worst surface for anything mechanical, wet salty sand, to try and sell you the dream, but if you ever actually ride one of their adventure bikes on British roads they tell you they've done you a favour not charging you extra for its first ever service because of "the state of some of the bolts". P.S. I'm being sarcastic. I do love their bikes, but so far, their dealership aftersales suck.

?? simply turn off traction control. i believe offroad mode turn off rear abs and gives 100hp
