That tea kit was fascinating! Ive never seen tea prepared that way or anything else there grilled except the sweet potatoe and mochi! Quite an amazing process 😊

When I was little we used graham crackers, and always Hershey milk chocolate with the toasted marshmallows. It was great. I think different ingredients would be good too, like the less sweet cracker, and darker chocolate
What cute ideas for entertainment! You could do a lot with both of these kits, and they are reusable, adding more possibilities for cooking. Even though I can't buy the kits, I am sure I can purchase and make the components.
It'll be interesting to do this with several friends! In fact, the Chinese term means "surround the pot and make the tea", perhaps the Chinese equivalent of a campfire?
That's not BBQ, that is "Grill & Tea"... That is a style of Chinese tea drinking, when you slow grill nuts and fruits on a small stove, and boiling tea in a clay pot at the same time... If anyone haven't tried it, just give it a try... Especially when sit on a sheltered balcony/deck on a cold day...
It's a mandarin orange and yeah you can do that, they taste quite good like this. However I HATE the smell of burnt mandarin skin - smells horrendeous to me.
oh this is so pleasant. i wonder if i can get one of those milk tea kits here in the states. ive got a buddy of mine who i know would love to try this with me
Id love to try these out, but will they ship to the States? My grocery rarely has persimmons, and usually only fresh, not dried. I can make mochi. Here in the American South, we have boiled peanuts. They're best when you get them from some sketchy looking roadside stand where there's 4 people & a total of 6 teeth...or the Cajun style from gas stations in the South...spicy, served hot...delicious!
Wow, never seen marshmallows that big! Even the ones we have here in the US that are called 'jumbo' are like half that size. Also, when I hear 'BBQ' I generally only think of the obvious type - grilling pork, chicken, or beef. Savory dinner stuff. It's interesting to see it used in a context without meats and instead for desserts and drinks.
If someone told me this was BBQ, I would have told them they were insane. I suppose across different cultures, BBQ means different things; to me, nothing beats a good Texas Pit BBQ or Tennessee!
@@lbednaz True. But what a perfect reason to source some grahams from the usa (this kit). I love exploring other cultures via food. Return the favor. Give them a taste they never had 😊.
The first one is a cool idea, but why not just buy the charcoal disks on their own? And if you are at home just turn on your stove, I don't get products that offer a solution to nonexistent problems

Same. It has never occurred to me that oranges can be enjoyed grilled.
It’s supposed to make them sweeter as well by caramelizing the natural sugars. This is a popular winter treat in several Asian countries.

I'm not gonna knock it, it's their version of it and actually marshmallow and chocolate between saltines are pretty darn good.
I don’t disagree, the salt probably enhances the flavor. Just sayin’ that it isn’t traditional
I wish we had stuff like this over here. I love these videos, they're sorelaxing. Thank you for making them ❤
I don't think that they would approve cardboard BBQ Box Kits for use, here in the US, because they are potential fire and/or toxic fume hazards/risks.
