Omg! I have that same chair! I reupholstered mine years ago. Mine was my grandparents’. I have a picture of my Dad holding me and we’re both asleep. I was probably 3 years old. I’ll be 55 in a few months. You found an awesome antique.

I'm still using a bean pot lamp that I have had for 40 years. Still love it. I also spray painted it a taupe color.

First I gotta say I love my daylight bulbs. I will never again use the yellow looking ones. When my daughter got her first apartment she found lamps at Goodwill exactly like the ones you have for close to the same price. And that was a long time ago. Everything you did looks great.
Love new lamps! Keep old lamps to swap out. Do a new top for dresser to match end tables.
Love both sets of lamps. But I would prefer the old ones because it doesn’t take up as much table space.
I like the lighter colors, a nice refresh for summer. It does make the room look larger. Art above the bed works, looks good, a pop of blue.

It is Xo Macenna (pronounced Makenna), when I heard the paint colour I thought it sounded familiar, cannot wait until the end to see how it turned out. It turned out so pretty, it looks so light and relaxing. You can hide the TV cord with a cover, Amazon sells them.

I love the painting, it adds some needed color. If you put a few blue items (like a vase, etc) here and there in the room and maybe one blue pillow on the bed, that will help tie in the painting. The room is so much lighter and fresher now. Great job!

Kerri, I find when I stain wood, it goes better if Use a conditioner on it first (you can use a moist cloth first if the stain is water based. I also make sure to wipe with the grain. If I want a heavier coverage, a very tiny circular motion working down the grain works well.
See two buttons one on each upper corner of the duvet. Turnt the duvet cover inside out and attach a biased tape loop to each upper corner that the button can go through, button and turn right side out. Some covers have ties already attached on the inside.
