I always love watching you paint. After penciling the general shape of the boat you wet the sky area and applied the watercolor paint to your paper so it would blend? The water area the paper was dry. The boat was wet initially and then you stop let things dry and come back to it? At the end the trees were area was wetted and paint applied. Last little details were added with just paint.

Its like, a substitute in big flat brushes or hake brushes..........
But you can make a more powerful stroke with a sponge brush.
