Basically told me the value of the bike doesn’t constitute arresting the dude and even if they did, he’d just be released same day. I argued with the cop “if I would have known you all weren’t going to do shit, my neighbor and I would have simply beat the dude up and tossed him in the street.” Cop couldn’t have cared less.
I feel you! Years ago I had my iPhone 3 stolen and was even texting back and forth to the son of the thief, but the cops wouldn’t lift a finger to recover it for me… All they had to do was make a simple call to my phone company to order them to GPS track it and then pick it up. The cops said the value of my phone wasn’t high enough to bother with. 😡 That was BS to be honest with you, because they said the theft had to be over $600, when I know that the phone was indeed over $600 if one were to buy it outright and not through a discounted phone plan. It was so upsetting to lose that phone, because I lost my precious photos and videos of my beloved dog that died a little bit before that phone was stolen.
Good news in this case is that an iPad trips the value for theft. That said, perp is probably already back roaming the streets again looking for nice cars that may have nice stuff inside. Just a little sore from the light tap on the wrist that the judge gave him. They blame an overloaded justice system but maybe it wouldn’t be so overloaded if there were real consequences for theft and other criminal acts.

So next time beat him up then. Don't call the police
She should have called for backup right away.... He seemed slightly disturbed or challenged...
Excellent police work from all involved
Except the initial officer...
I know this is sarcasm
@@kskeel1124says you, some loser wannabe cop. How arrogant do you have to be to think you know the job better then the actual cop.
I'm glad they got his stuff back
Except the woman officer who lays him just walk away. Useless
Look at the dirtbag’s reaction at 18:10 when they said it had the company iPad in the bag. Priceless! 😂
The valet is a hero.....give him a sizable tip.
The owner of the car laughing made me 😂😂😂😂😂 he was probably thinking the same thing I am thinking!!!!
DUMAS 😂😂😂 you gave up your real ID. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Good job catching the loser. Wasn’t smart enough to hide till dark…lol
👻
Lolol this comment is actually pretty damn funny.
Can't hide when you're already identified 😬
Shout out to the valet worker, he deserves a huge tip & reward
Good job guys, nothing surprises me anymore it's terrible we live in a world where people just think they can take other people's things😡
It's not a new idea.

great job letting the guy just walk away from you. smfh
Always have two officers together , common sense
ESPECIALLY if it’s going to be a chick on the job (which I am totally against, even as a woman myself)!
@@anti-ethniccleansing465 this pos didn’t even bother herself to run after a criminal!!! what a scumbag she is! they make a 6 figure salary just to drive around and chew gums like prostitutes and hookers who stand around the corner to pick up clients!!! I lived in multiple countries, police officers in decent countries aren’t allowed to chew gum on the job, it’s very unprofessional.
How someone can lie so casually is beyond me.
He thought he did something when he answered the brand right, he smirked after saying Lexus 😂😂😂
If black suspects get caught- remove all welfare benefits from the family (food assist, housing, free health care, cash assist, and etc).
When she said He was dumb enough to give me his ID and they both started laughing that was hilarious 😂
The dude laughing about the perp leaving his license with the cop was hysterical.
Chamblee is pronounced "SHam-blee".
Dekalb is pronounced "deh-CAB""
This is why AI will never take over the world.
LOL!!!
They're already within the general population of society.🍿😂
Agreed 1000%
Exactly.
Fantastic work from the Valet being aware of his surroundings and looking out for his patrons! 👀🏃
Fantastic work to all LEOs involved, coming in hott with that quick resolution for the citizens of your city!

What a wonderful case to observe! Love the swift justice ⚖️😁 Now, let's make sure this fool don't try this again 🙏
"The officer has my ID..... now is the perfect opportunity to run away." Some people simply aren't good at crime.
It could be fake
This lady cop has said and made several big mistakes with this man. One she let him get near to the car and open the door. ( bad policing) and another was telling him her radio didn't work because she had no reception. There are to many things she did wrong! Must be a rookie.
I love how that dude laughed at him for giving his ID and then running lol
Chamblee PD makes me feel good about policing. Good officers and supervisors. I’ve watched a few videos. The female Auto Theft detective is ELITE! She doesn’t mess around.
Good job officers and glad this had a quick, happy ending
Except the woman
Female Officer should have detained suspect.....
mans got hit with the flipper
He should go to the dealer and make sure his rolling codes aren't fucked, could be out of sync and causing his inability to lock the door.
The judge will shake his hand and offer him an apology before he lets him back out on the streets.
You gotta be just dumb to be a theft but real stupid to run away when they already have your id 😂
something about his calm demeanor is very disturbing to me 😕
The Valet is the hero here for being alert
How u gonna give your id and then run 😂😂😂
This my new favorite channel...Keep up the good work 😊
The ending of this video is uplifting gold!
Moral of the story-don’t leave valuables in your vehicle. There are lots of criminals out here that break into cars for a living. Great job officers & valet attendees,👍🏽
"You have a car, but you are walking all the way out here. Why?"
"Yes"
A smart and observant valet saved the day!! The crook seemed to have his lie worked out. Glad he was caught.
I found the cop so unprepared.
Love the way she just let the suspect walk away? WTF?!

@@blindthethiefshe shouldn’t be a cop then
Welllllll, the minute she said “ let’s walk outside so I can get reception” I knew he was gonna run!
The cop should have placed him in cuffs from the beginning
BINGO!
Unfortunately, acting suspicious does not give probable cause to get placed in handcuffs.
@@jillwisland680 Valet guy advised the officer he witnessed him enter a vehicle that was not his. That’s enough to detain someone not arrest. Theirs a difference. Detain can be hey stop or hey I’m placing you in handcuffs. He was never free to leave.
Acting suspicious can can lead to consensual encounters. In this case their is resanoble suspicion that a crime was or is being committed AKA “Terry Vs Ohio.”He ran from the police so add more suspicion, probable cause, and charges to that.
She was much too casual with this guy. I knew he was full of it from the start. Was that even his ID?
What a “genius” u break into a car, give cop your valid ID, then run? Lmaoo please throw him under the jail 😂
She took her time calling back up
