Love your channel. The corn syrup helps the sugar not to overcrystalize but you can omit it instead of subbing the honey; most likely you burnt the caramel - it can go from perfect to burnt in just a few degrees so sometimes it best to stop it from cooking a few degrees lower than the recommended recipe (also, sometimes thermometers are not totally accurate). You should try it again!

I looked into other caramel apple recipes. A lot of the vegan ones use maple syrup or light brown sugar instead of corn syrup. I don't use corn syrup either. I love how you always dive right into new cooking adventures! I think it is great that you give yourself the chance to explore. 🍎❤
I like to enjoy each holiday- for me, the season of Thanksgiving is important to observe. But the day after Thanksgiving-we decorate both our home and our church for Christmas!

Oh my goodness you 2 are always so cute....I wanted to tell you we moved this last time the weekend after Black Friday and I always love putting my Christmas up the first week of Nov.. We were going into a bigger house so I just kept my little tree up and took it over to the new bigger house and waited oh it was hard but I waited for the after Christmas sales when things were 75% off and got new decor and a bigger tree 🎄
