Bought the new Leon around 3 months ago from SEAT Sweden. Awesome car, great features and love driving it, BUT, still waiting for the full link function to work. Was told it would be available as an addition in the online store but still haven't seen anything. @SEAT could you please comment on when this will be available? Seems a waste to have such a clean infotainment system without this function. Thanks!

I just got my new seat LEÓN 2,0 TDISTYLE5T85 DE4 from a greek dealer VELMAR. A very nice car . I have it 2 weeks and I enjoy driving.
The worst problem for me is with the full link connectivity. I preordered the car 5 months ago and asked them about the android auto. They didn't tell me anything till now . The salesman told me that it is possible with the full link app and it costs 250 €. I don't think it's fair enough to ask afterwards money but Ok.
What do I have to do with this beautiful big screen if it is blocked. I am thinking to give back the car if this thing can't be fixed.
Hi, I bought a 2021 demo leon from the dealership, when I’m not listening music (or any audio at all) and the car is on with the engine off or even running I can hear a beep sound, is that normal ?

Just got my Seat Leon FR in the glorious red on Wednesday. I have taken off the Lane app. I hated it was really scary . Didn't seem to like me overtaking n going back into the lane . IRS not got as much grunt as the last Leon estate I got though. That was do responsive. I'm very disappointed that the windscreen is smaller and the top of the dash has gone as has the little coin tray . They've made really bad cutbacks on this new Seat . Hiw do I alter my mirror for night driving the tiny lever has gone .

Lane assist keeps you in lane only if you don't use the indicators (so use them :-)).
The interior mirror is now automatic, blends cars behind in the night (gets dark). Try by direct a flashlight on it you will see it change to dark.
@@seat I'm in the UK and I have to say I'm disappointed in this Seat Estate . Much preferred the one I had before this. They've cut back on so much. Even the distance to the windscreen is far less. It's so much smaller in the back seats as well .

@@lydiabrindley1944 The mirror has auto anti dazzle. It detects high beam behind and dims itself. As for the lane assist, it's user error by you I'm afraid. If you don't indicate, the car thinks you're not meaning to cross lanes. If you do indicate, the car lets you cross lanes without nudging the steering wheel.
As for acceleration, maybe check the stats for both cars. The old one maybe had a hump in the acceleration at certain revs while the new model is smoother over a bigger rev range. They may both take the same time to accelerate to say 60, but one might feel faster at certain points in the rev range.

Despite replying to good comments , can you tell us if we will be able to activate ever the full link ? 1.5 year and still waiting , what to do with an 8" display? To look the radio? No android auto , trasmission clunky noises (manual) , cranks inside the car and everything is normal . Thats a pitty, Leon mk3 was better overall

@@seat I am in Greece, I had contacted the customer service, according to them it's normal that every time you change a gear a weird clunk noise is coming from the gearbox. Its also normal that if you are selecting reverse gear the 1st gear is being selected and you go front but not back and I was going to have an accident. Finally its normal to have a message when you reverse on the camera about seat connect that has expired and I was going to go through a person. Full link? They don't know yet

Android auto works via USB cable though
It works wirelessly in the 2021 SEAT. That's how I connect with my Samsung S10+.
@@captainwin6333 you can pair your phone contacts via bluetooth. But can you make screen mirroring without a cable?

Does anyone know how to stop lane assist from automatically reverting to on every time I turn the car on again?
I bought a 2021 SEAT Leon fr plus 1.5 eTSI with almost every extra software available:
1. and I did not buy Full Link.. SEAT can not sell it to me (yet?)! WTF? Isn't it just software ? are you gona sell an app for that ?
2. I have a car that will ask me for a pin every time I get in (if I don't check the remember me checkbox) and the PIN does not lock the ignition! WTF? I mean why would you put all this technology and no security features that other cars have since the 90s?? are you gona sell an app for that ?
3. I can connect my car to my homes WIFI but as soon as I leave the system does not fail over to the eSIM you have to change the setting every time! WTF? sorry, are you from the past?
4. The climate control ... do I really have to look on the screen while driving to turn on the AC or change the temp? I do have 20 keys on the steering wheel don't I ? I can control car option, radio and navi but no not the temperature :P are you gona sell an app for that too?
5. The system has its moments, some times it starts by asking me to create a primary user and the after a few seconds it finally realizes that "oups.. I do have a primary user" :P
6. Seat connect app can make you crazy some times, it will randomly lose the vehicles location .. WTF? I can see all cars info but I can not be sure if it is stolen or not :P is it moving? can I do something about it?
7. Front camera and back cameras exists but no feed can be recorded.. WTF? I payed the price of 10 dash cams to buy them and use it only for parking :P
8. Rear camera stopped working one day for no good reason.. called the tech team and they told me that I need to wait for a software update! WTF? I am updating the software of this car almost every week :P
9. Do you sell this can in Sweden ? Is there a way to pre-heat the engine and turn on the AC ? if the key is out of rage? can I do it from the app ?
All of the above is just to say that.. SEAT: You are not a software house and you have no software to sell yet. Please get some more developers and upgrade this really good product.

En enero he comprado el Seat Leon ST eTSI...modelo 2022....dicen ellos...
El coche va muy bien, pero el software es una puta mierda chavales....siempre tengo problemillas con el software...aun que he actualizado el sistema muchas veces...en que siglo voy a poder descargar uno que funcione de verdad...que no se atasque cada dos por tres....por cierto .... la calefacion trasera o bien le aire , funciona quizas despues de restart como 15 minutos ,o si tengo suerte hasta que hago mi primera parada. Estoy muy decepcionado....coche catalan!...como dijo mi cunado.... HIHIHIHI....pues no ... le dije ....practicamente es un coche aleman.....pero la calidad de los coches que salen de la misma madre....como Audi o VW....bueno....estays bien lejos...
