I know that shopping different stores is not easy for everyone but for those that can. Check your Dollar Tree for toastsda shells, whole wheat bread, top ramen (5 pack for $1.25 vs 24 pack for just shy of $9 at our WinCo), and some snacks. I work there now to help pay for our family groceries and have learned from so many customers the good items to grab when my shift ends.

I was You Tube shopping for moms/ families in San Antonio, as resources for shopping, and fun things to do for families and date night with my hubby.
I'm a stay at home mom , I do run my own company mostly from my home office, my hubby just took a new job in San Antonio he is a E.R dr, this is exciting for us. I hope to learn alot from all the ladies on You Tube.
We prefer canned green beans as well. Most other veggies I like fresh or frozen, but still like canned green beans lol. We have chickens so we’ve lucked out with eggs, and bring our excess to coworkers. So glad to see you posting again, missed you and the family!
My daughter works at Walmart here in Colorado Springs and she says she watches the price of eggs go up every time she works it seems. I just looked on my app and they are $6.73 for a dozen eggs. My daughter is 16, so she is being skilled for the real world by having this job and seeing how much groceries cost! 🤣
At my WM in NE Ohio, 5 dozen of eggs are $18.33 or 30.6 cents per egg. A gallon of GV milk is $2.78.
Here in Overland park kansas eggs are $4.12 a dozen and 1 gallon milk is $3.38 (walmart) we are originally from oahu,Hawaii so I'll take these prices any day 🤣 $7 a dozen of eggs and $7-8 gallon of milk both on SALE 🤦♀️

Yes I try not to go down to the bare minimum either because it cost way too much to stock back up,it’s easier to have to replenish weekly with the prices nowadays. But besides that I can tell in your face in this video the weight loss. Eyebrows and eyelashes looking good girl. So glad your back.
Great haul Melissa! Yes groceries are extremely expensive and I’m so over it even with our gas prices here in California it’s awful
I live in Southwest Oklahoma and our city only has 2 grocery stores, Walmart and Homeland. Three dozen eggs cost over $17 at Walmart and are higher at Homeland. It’s just my husband and myself living at home but we babysit 2-3 grandkids everyday and buy snacks and some meals for them also. We spend upwards of $200 a week for groceries.

I think that was pretty good for what you spent! We hardly ever eat out because of prices and just stick to getting nutritious food in the house. To the best of our abilities of course. I just find that if we eat foods that aren’t nutritious we all are hungry quickly and than tend to eat more. I will spend the money on meat and eggs but we won’t eat out as a family hardly ever. That how we seem to be juggling it. None the less I spend a lot on food!

It’s crazy how different everything is since the pandemic…the wait for any kind of dr appt and the cost of food!!! Go to the Dr at the 1st of the mth in December for a referral to a different Dr and not getting an appt until Feb 24 😯
It’s really crazy!! Surprisingly I find bacon 24 oz GV brand affordable just under $6!! I still shop deals and clearances per usual!!

I live on the east coast. At a local store I go too all the time store brand milk is $4.99 a gallon and plain white eggs are $12.99 for 30.

I work at a Target in AZ and 1 dozen eggs is $6.79 18ct $8.19 and a gallon of milk is $2.59. I thought it was gonna be more expensive because it’s target but it’s super comparable to other grocery stores around and the milk is actually cheaper.
Girl here in California we’ve been paying $8 for a gallon of milk for a long time already 😩

We have backyrd chickens luckily i didnt hear about the egg ahortage until recently. We are a family of seven and each of us eats at least an egg everyday for breakfast. Great haul

In Canada our milk has always been$5.00 and eggs always $6.00 per dozen! You guys have just been lucky thus far with grocey prices

We found Sams club has the cheapest for eggs. We got the 90 count eggs here in Mn for about 25 dollars for 90 it was able 27 cents for one egg which is a good price.
I wish there was a HEB in New Jersey. They have great deals. Generally NJ is more expensive but with the inflation and everything else it's even more expensive. 😒 I also have been cutting back in what I buy or I look up what I can substitute ingredients with.

You can get a crate of eggs which is 30 for about 8.99-9.50. (I'm in Ontario / Canada) and I spend about 5.49 on 2L of milk which is half a gallon I think?
Consider yourself lucky in Texas. Prices are much higher in CA and NV. Eggs are $6.99 a dozen.
At my Walmart right now 3 dozen eggs is $15.52 but the 5 dozen is $19.98. At Kroger 5 dozen is $25.95. This is in Stockbridge Georgia.

It’s horrible expensive here in Nevada so i definitely shop sales because it’s crazy! Costco has 5 dozen for 15 bucks so I get 2 at time. Sigh but it’s out of hand this inflammation!
