Wow!! You are awesome!! I learn so much from you in each video you share. Thank you so much for sharing all that you do! Side note - I love the name Just Scribble! It's fun, but it's also true. Sometimes, when you aren't feeling it, if you just scribble, you'll eventually start writing or doodling what you need to accomplish. IMHO I'm pretty new to your channel, so I may have just missed a video going deeper into an "all about me/my channel" video. However, even if you do have a video like that, now that you've created your own planner, maybe it's time for a refresher? For example, you could explain how you came to name your channel Just Scribble. How you got into paper-planning and what you started out using. What field of work is your full-time job and how has your industry influenced your planning style, if at all. Just a few thoughts. I can't possibly imagine how incredibly busy you are, but that "fun" getting to know me type of video may be fun for you as you take a moment to reflect on how far you've come. Did you ever think that you would have your own planners!?! Etc.
I am so glad you're enjoying the channel and finding it helpful! I'm definitely considering a "getting to know me" video and your suggestions are awesome! It's one of my goals for 2025. I'm so glad to have you here!
The circle can be a rating for areas you are focusing on and how you are rating yourself in areas of your life. Very much used for goal setting. So main areas would be Health, Personal, Spiritual, Financial, Relationships, Environmental, and so on. For work you can create your own if you have areas you want to break down to balance, track, focus and improve which might be what the progress area is for.
Thanks. I’ve seen it used before but it doesn’t really fit into my work process and I know I’d never use it in this way. But I can see how it would be good depending on your job or how you used the planner. I have goal setting in my main planner so I don’t need this level of detail here but thanks for the ideas!
Great setup and ideation. Mine is all setup as well. I even filled out my long January task list. I’m looking forward to using that dashboard and categorizing my to dos by class instead of one big gigantic list.
I love a good looking functional setup. I might have to pre prep my monthly also as that is clever. Adds more time for other things when I'm not in the mood and just leave it blank...lol. thank you for sharing and happy holidays....ive missed so much and need to catch up on your channel....cheers to the days ahead❤
Thank you for your kind words! I've got a lot planned these last weeks of the year so there will be lots to watch (I hope!). I love having my monthlies preset. It just makes sense to me - saves me time and like you said gives time for other things that I enjoy more.
I love how you support other planner companies and understand that different layouts/sizes work for different people for different things. But I'm wondering what drew you to this manager B5 layout for your work planner rather than your own planner design? Also wondering if it was the B5 size you preferred for work planning (more room)? Makes me wonder if you're considering a B5 size for your planner next year (I know it's early lol). I have big handwriting and never used a smaller than 0.7mm pen before so I thought I needed a B5 size planner at the smallest, but I loved your layout so much that I took a chance on the A5 and even though I haven't officially started using it (I can't wait!!) I'm already loving the size more than I thought! 💕
Thank you for your kind words! Means so much! So what drew me to using the B5 manager was a few things. 1) it was a unique layout that I wanted to test out in my love for planning. 2) I thought the layout seemed a good fit for work and that it would put a focus on tasks and planning my work projects and is a change from my system for a nice “forced” revamp of my work planning routine. 3) it’s using CAL paper which I love (and looked at for an option for my planners) 4) It’s b5 size which I adore (actually was a size I included in my poll I took before I finalized sizes for my 2025 planner launch - sadly it wasn’t popular with the respondents. But other shops launched the size and people seem excited so maybe it’ll stay popular for a future size).
I know a lot of people love them. I just find they don't hold my place the way I like and I prefer a tab that I can flip easier. Just personal preference I think.
@ absolutely, honestly the one that hold best are the weighted one like Olive & Archer or Hemlock & Oak. I think the tearing makes me cringe because I’m worried that the book will be damaged. To each his own, though 🫶🏼
The spreadsheet sticker. I need it. 🤣
😂 I love it!

Can you please do a video giving us ideas how to use your planner the Just Scribbles A5 the beginning pages
Videos are coming on this.

That sounds amazing! I love how you're already set up and ready to go!
That washi in the front I believe is from an HP box. I have this planner and am undecided on how I’ll use it next year. Thanks for the ideas 😊
That’s what I thought! Thanks for confirming it’s HP!!
I’m glad you enjoyed the video!

Ahhh!!! Im so glad you're showing us this set up so I can get into the one I won! Just such a different layout, Im probably overthinking it lol
I think it's easy to overthink - I did at first too. I’m glad the video was helpful!’

I have the A5 slim, it has pages between but dot grid. Still better than at the end but I wish they were graph grid instead
Yes she likes dot grid - her pocket has a lot of dot and lined pages and I prefer graph grid as well.
Do you sell the fractured glass stickers?
You mean the overlay that I used on my card in this video? No I don't sell it...I buy it on Amazon. I think it's in my Amazon Storefront.
@ What you used to make the 2025 and Q1-4 stickers you put in the front of the planner and notebooks.
@ Oh! Sorry!! No I don’t but I could add something like this to my shop.
It hurts to see people rip off ribbons, at least you cut them. I love them maybe because I’m older
I know a lot of people love them. I just find they don't hold my place the way I like and I prefer a tab that I can flip easier. Just personal preference I think.
