Karate Kid 3 was weird. I think the plan was to tear him apart from Miyagi and torture him with his training. But it was making Daniel pretty good too... So I don't really get Silver's end goal. Was it to lose? Because I'm not really sure how that was happening with what he was doing. He was teaching Daniel real things he knew... The movie was just inconsistent and didn't make sense. Daniel was the one that quit too. So what if he didn't?

They do this with like 10 characters (sometimes even with the SAME character). Honestly the series just got kind of OLD to me during S3 and 4. Especially when it kept making Johnny dumber and dumber as a character and Daniel just being a pain in the ass who can never see the other side (his daughter is also insufferable). Eventually it seemed like every episode was mandated to have at least ONE fight scene as well and it just got ridiculous. The series was a serios breath of fresh air at first, but Netflix acquiring the show must have affected it somehow and it just got stale as a result.
Silver manages to have a voice that show either jack shit for emotion or all the emotion he needs. the fact that he can do that makes him a psychopath and makes Thomas one of the greats in my book.
