The Volont’R program was launched in 2018 by the Interministerial Direction Delegation for the Reception and Integration of Refugees (Diair) in partnership with the Civic Service Agency.
In 2021, it was opened to eligible young newcomer foreigners (eligibility conditions in the FAQ below).
Volont’R offers:
It is up to young citizens to get involved in the reception and integration of newcomer foreigners, including beneficiaries of international protection (BPI). This component is implemented by the civic service agency.
It is for young newcomer foreigners, including refugees, to get involved in French society. This component is implemented by local authorities and associations selected by each region.
Volont'R participates in the change of outlook of French society on migration and facilitates the integration of young foreigners (better knowledge of the French language and society, development of social relations, self-confidence, maturation of the future project ) through projects in various fields (solidarity, culture, environment, education, memory, sport, etc.).
