@@thenowchurch6419 we do not believe the holy Spirit is theoretical at all. It is very real. There is "Spirit" Holy Spirit and there is "spirit" meaning breath of life (our spirits) the one that is part of our body.

White, your Spirit of Prophecy, denied that the Holy Spirit can actually indwell a person. She stressed that Christians must read the Bible and think about it. Those thoughts are the influence of the Holy Spirit, according to her. She says that the Holy Spirit is not really in your body. So for all practical purposes the Holy Spirit is a theory in the life of an Adventist.

Pastor Doug, thank you for this message that I'm watching for the first time. My beloved husband of 32 years passed away this evening at 6:55 pm PST. He had a massive stroke this afternoon and was intiabated and unconscious in the ER from about 1:30 this afternoon. The 2nd CT Scan showed that the brain hemorrhage had spread through his brain with no hope of survival. The ER staff removed the breathing tube and all IV's at between 6:45 and 6:50 and then left me alone in the room with him and a sister from the Bremerton Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bremerton, WA who was sitting with me in Clyde's room. I held his left hand and kept my right hand on the right side of his neck to feel when his heart stopped. He never regained consciousness and was in no pain. I prayed while holding his hand and kissed him goodbye after he passed. Two friends in the building where I live sat with me in the lobby and we talked until after 11 tonight. I started watching this after I got home and it has really helped me, even though I have had to pause it to pray for peace several times. Knowing mu beloved Clyde has "Won the War with the Flesh", I still have to deal with it. It is what Clyde would want. I want to thank you with all my heart for all you do and say to help us to learn to deal with the flesh and the devil and to strive to please our Creator.

Kia Ora Doug I have only returned to the Lord last week after a few years and God has blessed me with the message you have just shared because I was that person who walked in defeat and looking at the christian hikoi as a chore and not as a privilege, and questioned constantly asking do I really love You Lord but now I know stay in His presence, and hikoi in victory everyday through Jesus. I am thankful to God for the ministry He has blessed you and your team with. ♥️♥️♥️
Praise God. It seems every time, by God's grace, that i am trying to overcome something, a message here comes that helps. Eg today i had to go up town and get groceries. This is normally a simple task, but for about 10 months now i have been having various treatments for breast cancer. This week i had chemotherapy and it causes extreme fatigue so anything normal is like climbing a very high mountain and running out of breath. However, this whole journey is teaching me many positive things. Today, with a fatigued outlook taking a toll, i was impressed that the feelings about some silly drivers was making me miserable, i asked God for help and started singing hymns. At the end of my 25 minute journey home i felt happy and thankful. Now this message is just reinforcing the blessing for trusting in God. Thankyou.

We cannot break the bondage of sin. All we need to do is want to. Jesus will break the bondage of sin in His own way and in His own time. I'm a witness. Just never stop wanting to and you will have the victory!!
We give all glory to GOD in the highest for all these Sermons because HE is working tirelessly to see to it that not one soul is left behind but that we all come to repentance and start walking in the Spirit.
Amen, keep in mind when we choose good over sin we must ask God for that in the moment and he will give us that victory over the temptation. We cannot do alone, only with His power.

Thank you, it was always confusing to me what Paul was trying to say here. Sometimes I get the idea that walking in the spirit means you will never commit a sin, which is impossible. The way you explained it about how which side will rein makes sense, in other words gaining some control and trying to make that control gain more and more

Thank you, it was always confusing to me what Paul was trying to say here. Sometimes I get the idea that walking in the spirit means you will never commit a sin, which is impossible. The way you explained it about how which side will rein makes sense, in other words gaining some control and trying to make that control gain more and more
