I have a severe bee and wasp phobia, and it's ruined my entire outdoor life for over 25 years. *But that all ends now...* For once, I'm hopeful and ready to fight back. Thank you very much.
Kindred, Please note that you can improve the strength and effectiveness of dryer sheets by pouring liquid fabric softener on them. Otherwise, I'm glad to hear my video helped! diedonner299, Contrary to popular belief, bees and wasps aren’t attracted to everything that’s sweet. They have never smelled dryer sheets before in a natural environment, so it can be a bit confusing for them. Dryer sheets are far too strong for bees and wasps. They end up flying away because it is just too intense for them. Even if you have a floral-scented dryer sheet, the bees will stay away. Try it out, you’ll see. Prior to installing the dryer sheets, my Mail Man was attacked by wasps 3 or 4 times from a nest they built inside my mail box. After removing the nest and installing the dryer sheets, we have not seen a bee or wasp near our mail box in the last 3 years. In addition, my Mail Man told me that 15 to 20 folks on his route use dry sheets in their mail box. None of them have bees or wasps in their mail boxes. @@LetsFixItRight I definitely will thanks for the nice reply. I have mainly carpenter bees around my place. I haven’t been able to find where they’re burrowing into wood yet but anything to keep them away is a great help. Live in Florida and it’s impossible to be outside with these buggers on the loose.
@@diedonner299 I've never tried them on Carpenter Bees. Recommend that you try them. If they don't work, I recommend that you call a pest control expert.

I like this video it was great. Any suggestions on how to stop bees from swarming. I have bees swarming in our backyard they are in a hole that in my orange tree, and I believe they will nest soon
Mike, If you have some Fabric Softener, which is used to saturate dryer sheets, try using that. Otherwise, I would soap this swarming area with bee and wasp killer. How could this work? I thought bees and wasps liked sweet floral smells. That’s what these sheets smell like to me anyway.

Roger that. Carpenter Bees are a different case.
@@LetsFixItRight so the fabric softener sheets won’t work with them?
