- I Clicked Phishing Links in my Email to See What Happens
Today, I pulled up as many phishing scam emails as I could find as well as an elaborate scammer I came across trying to offer me a sponsorship. I then clicked on these phishing links to see what lies beyond as I HOPE most of you guys never click these. Phishing links can be very drawn out convincing some people that are not paying close attention to its authenticity to give out their personal information. These links can also potentially reveal location/isp/install malicious software in the background. Let me go ahead and click on these for you and hopefully teach you some things to look out for if you don't know already. I hope you enjoyed the video! Please drop a like and a comment, it would be greatly appreciated! :D

Bro is just acting like my grandparents in this video

What?

"Hello this is microsoft tech support. *deep inhale*"
HOLY FUCK I SNORKED AT SPAM INHALER LMAOOO
I got one from amazon saying that my package was delayed. I knew it wasn't them because I didn't order anything. Only thing was, I did order something, and forgot. Turns out the email was real

Naver is a huge company in SK. It’s like Google where they have a search engine, maps, email service, etc. that’s why it said Naver at the end of the email.
Naver also owns Webtoon :-)
My brain instantly went to Webtoon. Man in high school I used to be on there religiously
SK?
SK is Slovakia KR is Korea - South Korea basically lol.
@@TracksWithDaxme in middle school, i didn’t last till highschool for me😅
So your laptop is the equivalent of a ghostbusters containment unit for scammers

Got one of these in my messages. It was a postal service from around where I live. They said my package went to the wrong place, I almost put my card info in when I seen the website was fake. I checked the tracking number and it was for my actual parcel that arrived a week ago. It turns out that the postman was in with the scam, selling tracking numbers.
Edit: it turns out it actually did take my card info so I had to get a new one
omg that's horrible, I hope that mf's in jail
So it's not fake. I had several experiences and the mailing companies have really sketch security measures.
I’ve had this happen to myself and my mother. Sad part is I am usually good at recognizing scams, but it was around the holidays and I was ordering packages left and right.
i got scammed by one of them and didn’t even check the website ! a week later they used my card for 1,000$ but luckily my bank didn’t let it go through! be careful out there
@@dannylo5875 it was fake
we're costco guys of course we've selected you to get an exclusive reward
Oh yes, roxy lalonde the Costco guy
DOUBLE CHUNK TROJAN COOKIE
Please, yall if you want to test a virus, use a virtual machine
Triage is actually a better choice since viruses can leak through a VM onto a host computer. Triage is a malware analysis tool that’s basically a VM in a browser.
@@t-kaardoor how about Triage in a VM for the double security? Always use zero-trust

The reason ao many emails come from legitimate businesses is because the person who created the website (more than likely through wix or wordpress) didnt know basic security and someone with malicious intent found a backdoor thus allowing them to piggy back off the legitimate company.
They may be using these strange domains to prevent google from sending their messages to the spam folder. In other words, they could be legitimate businesses that got hacked for this purpose.
Exactly this. I cringed when he tried to call the registrant to confront him
@@mxkoster1615 It's just fake data, these types of phishing domains always hide their real data in whois using privacy companies, for obvious reasons.
In case of the kobalt tools one in the video, the phone number is completely fake and the address is of the (legit) Icelandic Phallological Museum, which shows off animal p**ises. It's literally trolling people who try to snoop around.
@@mxkoster1615 yeah its cringe
Reminds me of the time when i was little and kept getting those free gift cards scam pop up ads. Always made my mom enter her details into it and submit, like 100 thousand times
Omg those "free" gift card pages but you had to pay for the different levels of offers (aka affiliate links) and never get the gift card at the end 😭. So many free trials I signed up for...
@@marcusvision I also fell for those generator scams that said they would give you free money in like different game accounts but I'm pretty sure they'd just steal your account. I wonder how none of my accounts got stolen 😭😂
This dude needs to figure out how to make a virtual machine 😂. He's giving me anxiety.
Whats even dumber about the iCloud storage, is that Apple actually offers MORE storage for 2 dollars. 50 GB is 0.99$ I believe

I once clicked on a scam link but my internet was so bad the file it tried to download didn’t work. Then I realised it was probably a virus. Moral of the story? Be grateful for bad internet :)
I always tell myself “if its in my spam folder” then its in the spam folder for a reason same goes with DM’s, like if you are in my spam DM’s message requests you are there for a reason and I’ll never be replying 😂😂
My work was giving out $1000 bonuses but you had to respond to an email. The email went to spam. So glad I looked there.
the foreign name saying ‘you idiot’ in the thumbnail o my god this is perfect lolz
you’re really out here doing gods work cus i always wonder what happens when you click these but i’m too scared
16:05 This email is just a notification of your email not being sent and getting bounced back because of an error. The images were meant to be placed inside the email, but something failed.
you must have been the one who sent it.

This guy is rather clueless
Well, obviously, you're gonna get phished. What else did you think went on there?
This is like putting a gallon of kerosene in your oven and then acting surprised when it blows up.
okay mr. obvious
@jvnebugged I'm not trying to be Mr. Obvious, I'm saying it's a bit of a pointless video bar the fact that it could help people identify phising emails. But past that, there's literally no reason to be doing this...
Obviously people like the entertainment. Move along then.
Never skip a tranium video

As professional in -hac- coding, I’ll never recommend to click such links. Just never.
1. Some web sites have bugs and just one click already is enough to get access to your account.
2. Your OS/browser/etc. can have bug and such click is already enough to get full control over your device (pc/phone).
3. In most cases you even never get it, what happened. As example after such click you can be forwarded to some random site (e.g. korean), while actually your machine already infected :)
you are yapping so much. no modern browser has any kind of vulnerability like that nowadays
that is quite literally impossible
Let us slowly walk through all of your claims
1. It is indeed possible, for example someone could have a subdomain to a legitimate domain and could probably grab your cookies; or some XSS attack, it is likely not the case though
2. You will never be the target to an exploit that important, not only would it be very hard to find one, to exploit one and then to successfully execute one without some crazy conditions; as said as it is, you are not important enough to be the victim of one
3. No, simply no; If you get infected, that is of your own doing (ex.: entering credentials, downloading and running an untrustworthy executable or screensaver ;))
What????? Modern browsers have protections against all of these. Trust me when I say that they are _serious_ about security. There would have to be a major vulnerability that would swiftly get patched anyway for any of these to be possible.
A website absolutely does not have access to your entire computer or any of your accounts from other sites..... unless if you're using Internet Explorer from 20+ years ago.
what blows my mind the most about all of this is that people actually read and correspond to random ad emails that get sent to them
You can litteraly get 50G for half the price from apple
tranium type of guy to name himself "big t" and think it's cool
Big T is Tanner from the group chat

i kept getting emails from a sports site in the Philippines but its "hot girl" fake facebook corn in my spam so I was confused why a sport site would do that 😭 idk why its from official businesses/website that has no link to the email your getting
Poor scammers with my emails. I don’t reply to 99% of emails I get.

I get lots of ones saying if I want hot girls...lol. I used to get ones on casino and bitcoin transactions...now I can just scan an email and find an IP address...alot come from servers Under the control of hackers or scammers.
18:39 that's actually macafee they're just scammers

why does he subtitle some things and not others? He literally just yaps and the kids eat it up.

Some of theses people don’t even seem real 😭
Tranium out here educating the UA-cam masses!
you do not need to embed subtitles in post for youtube, youtube already has a competent enough system for subtitles so fuck off with embed subtitles
I work at a school and we had cybersecurity training. Apparently we’ve been attacked in the past because someone clicked on a link for something in a scam email. Everyone is targeted these days!
i love this man so much
If not sure (especially when needing to fill in your home adress and/or other personal details), either don't do it, or search Google and UA-cam.
And NEVER install programs for whoever calls you or emails you!
Saved my mom's whole income with that one!
If the bank or whatever company calls you, just hang up, call them on their original number, and ask about it.
Bruh. Using a different email to open the links on the same computer is the same as covering your face with a clear plastic bag to rob a bank. 😂
Probably should collab with a cybersecurity youtuber to do this stuff safely.
It wasn't on the same computer I'm not THAT dumb LMAO
@@Tranium Thank god, I was pretty worried for a second 😂
My uncle falls for catfish women on Facebook. And apparently there’s accounts that just post corn. It’s crazy… idk this video reminded me of that lol

bro, i work providing this kind of secure checkouts to scammers (does this make me the scammer?), its a MASSIVE industry, get in contact if you have any questions, i'm not proud of what i do but i need to pay rent and shit
it's not russinans only, its probably indians and people from south asia, specially for emails...
russians mostly run these scams on facebook ads

no offense but idk ehy you posted this without doing any sorta research 😭 sinply getting an email isn't gonnq get you hacked
like fr why do ppl think you can get viruses by just clicking a link or downloading a file... u need to run a file to get a virus
Naver is like google so basically as standard email address
When you write to a person their emails does not go to your spam box sadly.. >.
Im early let’s go (kind of) keep it up man I love these vids they’re fucking hilarious
Should do a follow up video to show the emails and spam you get
I just got an email that I won a free Stanley tumbler at Starbucks, in German.
Tranium posting Banger after banger fr
next level of this video i need is using visa gift card to pay and see if they send you stuff
Dude this is so funny because how real it is and we’re just joking about it lol
naver is safe it is korean google
My dad once click not even on the link but on the mail in Gmail app that he got and there was just random icons and letters and all his passwords got changed
I love Phishing Jk
i would say that wth
damn props for doin that
would use old computer then restore the whole thing after or old phone
if it helps, Naver is South Korea’s search engine. A lot of it functions like Google so the email having the naver address just means its their Korean version of gmail. (Doesn’t negate the fact it’s a scam lmaooo)
"you idiot" lol
Loveitt!!
You need a video editor bro ?
I can do a sample video:)
Dude u seem to have no clue about IT, who registers a Domain for scamming with their real data 😂 Not able to watch that as a professional IT guy.
Im starting to think these scammers are just hosting their websites in Scandinavia/ Iceland because ive who.ised a couple phishing links ive gotten and most of the time the host comes back to Norway or Norway routed through a "server" in the middle of a lake in Kansas. They're trying so hard to make it difficult to find them, we've got to have a way to actually see where they are right?
The funny thing is iCloud storage is 1$ a month and it’s legit lmao
Why is the user in the thumbnail named "you are a idiot" lol
I hope you wiped that laptop it has spyware
Yandex it is fishing website, copied Google and plagiarized everything that wasn't in drvrloper's head. L/10
