I have Powermate 18" rear tine tiller about three years now. it runs great and never failed to start up at first pull. Never shuts off while idling or under load. I would buy the same tiller again if i ever need another one.
The gas additives in the gas now days pulls humidity in the tank and it gets water int eh gas after it sits awhile. That might be the problem. Use seafoam to clean carb out and get the water out of the gas or just dumped the gas out and put new in it
Works good, would like some things like gears, ect, but that costs more, the handles are a little lighter gauge than I would like, would be nice to have a throttle on the handle, but basically I like it and it works good so far
Bought one, gears quit turning on second season. Was cleaned, properly maintained. Still under warranty. Took it in. They had it for 13 months!!!! Said could not get parts!!!! Finally got it back. Used it twice. Gears locked up?!?! No longer under warranty!!! Sitting! Engine starts up first pull! POS. Do not buy!!!
I just bought One of These Tillers today...I was impressed..For the price You cant beat it.Fud a great job.

Bought one at our local co-op. Used it 4 or 5 times and already have starting problems. Not happy!
