As a Laker fan, I forgot all about Jordan Hill. Glad he was able to get his life back on track. We who are more fortunate, don’t really understand what this type of stress does to people, especially at an early age. One excellent thing he got from his career is his ability to play with an all time great in Kobe. He’s part of Kobe’s legacy.
I was expecting it to be a bad ending but I'm so happy for Jordan Hill. He deserves every single penny he earned in the NBA. Hope he has a long living life.
@@fastkarr8256 well obviously he supporting his family and has a cool car habit. He must be making some good investments as I would if I was in his shoes
@@fastkarr8256 he has a nice support system around him than before, pretty sure his adopted family told him to invest on businesses and take care of his money.
I’m happy as hell to see Jordan Hill happy and living life to the fullest. He’s having fun but seems to have been relatively smart with his wealth. The man sure could ball for playing such a short time overall. I wish my man nothing but the best.
Thank God there was a happy ending!! I didn't know he went through all that. Sounds a lot like where I grew up. Can't forget where you came from unexpectedly life will remind you. Money and fame will not be able to hide you from it
there's absolutely NOTHING that makes this story heartbreaking, it's actually HEART WARMING. CHANGE THE TITLE. this man has children and does nothing but provide and be a continuous role model for them. as a father myself I can't do anything but root for him and his future endeavors
hii im jordan hills daughter and this nigga left me!! he aint in my life and he also left his 2 other children (my brother and sister) to be with another family but okkk😭😭 also he spent years cheating on my mom and hitting us
The Warriors sent the Knicks a ransom note "We know you want Curry, give us a good deal for the pick or we'll draft him!' The Knicks wrote back, "We don't do deals with terrorists! You KEEP him! We'll just draft Jordan Hill!"
Good guy, met him his freshman year at Arizona after Lute Olson camp. Stopped a workout and stuck around and signed everything for every kid and took pictures with kids.
@@fastkarr8256 yeah, he was. It was after a children's basketball camp finished up, kids where about to head home, and saw him and another player working out on the court. Everyone swarmed them cause they had on Arizona gear and where 6'8+.
I used to work valet at his luxury condo in Marina Del Rey when he was on the Lakers, he was a very chill dude, i parked most of his cars he definitely loved cars! I talked to his gf a lot she was super nice, glad to see him happy
Thanks for sharing this story, Jordan Hill recently signed with a CBA team, and he'll play in China soon, hopefully I can watch him in person to play in the cba
Man I escaped a similar background coming from Oakland,ca lost nearly 85 family members and friends definitely would have you cold hearted and you giving your all to beat the odds I am really happy he didn’t let it beat him up
What really struck me is when the guy narrating stated how violence was normal where Jordan grew up. You know we live in a dangerous, messed up world when violence in society or any neighborhood where someone grew up is considered to be the norm.
This was a cool video usually I watch videos like this an the ending isn't gd.....it was awesome seeing him happy an around his family...at the end of the day thats what it's all about family
As a Warriors fan, I remember back in 2009 that I've badly wanted the dubs to pick Jordan Hill. Golden State needed a bigman that time and I've really felt bad by them drafting Steph Curry instead. I literally smashed wall out of anger, like Curry and Ellis playing together was double jeopardy. In turns out I was very wrong.
I’m very happy for him.... he had a lot on his plate since he was very young... did not know his life story... very hard... Glad he’s Looks Happy mow. God Bless him and his children 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
Although this was click baitish, I’m really thrilled that he’s happy now. He’s been through hell and back. Live you life Jordan and thank you for those Lakers years.
This shit is a good light on one part of many trials and tribulations people have to go through. I'm also satisfied that this isn't just a distasteful video about a black man... 🤙🏾 live on and live strong my brothers and sisters
At least this man found happiness in his family after what happened in his life. So happy for him.
i know Im kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good site to stream newly released tv shows online?
@Gary Leonel i would suggest Flixzone. Just search on google for it =)

glad he got his money and can live a better life now
He got himself out of a dangerous ass environment and generated enough wealth to stay out. In this game, he's definitely a winner.

Amen to that bro.
that is an uplifting story for people who are struggling with an unstable life
wow, this series is rly underrated, like if you didn't look at the date, you may think this was an older video
I love Jordan Hill when he was on the Lakers
Never knew this about J. Hill he was a favorite here in L.A
Stay up loks
One thing I’ve learned from these videos is that when you see trouble, runnnn . And be careful with the people you associate your self with.
Allot of kids in the guetto don't even hear this advice fam.
His step son just went viral , people were asking what happened to him but he seems to be doing well now

I hate when “people” make these videos putting down theses players. And Laurens is not a dangerous city. Hell, it’s barely a CITY. Cmon dude

Loved watching him in Arizona. He's still one of our all time favorites.
He never gave up & I for one am happy he has a family of his own.
I always thought Jordan hill was a good player when he was on the Lakers. Happy for him and his family. God bless
This isn't heartbreaking it's heartwarming. He made it in life, the nba is irrelevant.
Checks was nice though right 🙄
Your production on your videos is great, keep up the great work man. God Bless.
Watched him play with Chase Budinger at Arizona. Dude was unstoppable as a Junior
He defeated all odds against him! God bless him!🤜🏿🙏🏾🤛🏿💯

I met this guy in a supermarket in Tucson once. My friend (a Lakers fan) pointed him out. He was super cool & it was nice to meet him!

@Master CipherSupreme I was gonna say that bro, lol. Glad you beat me too it. And Trevor Booker too. And I’m from NC.
Love how you ended the video with positivity
He would say it’s a heartbreaking story in it ain’t even a sad story it’s a damn good one
Love these story videos. It brings so much context to the game, beyond box scores and stats!

I'm happy even prouder that he chose to go home with his loved ones after all the tragedy.
Fun fact every time I would go to the barbershop and see the lakers play I would want a Jordan hill haircut😃
Really great story of perseverance. Happy Jordan Hill found his peace.
Respect to jordan hill. Had a tough life growing up. He did well with my lakers

Unfortunate that he was picked by a team that had a coach that doesn’t like big men.
He just had to do some growing up!!! Dope video
