It appears to me that you do not know how the auto notch function works on the FT-920. There are moments when people were tuning up and you were trying to tackle the turn ups with the DSP high cut instead. You should have hit the notch button instead. When combining with AGC (off) and RF-Gain, the DSP on the FT-920 can do a whole lot more.
too many times "ham operators" don't have any idea of how to use a radio, how it works, what the functions do and how to use them. Furthermore they judge radios to the public saying this one is better than that one and bla bla bla... It's a shame but it's the reality..
@@IZ0MTW That's right, lot's of times I see hams with very expensive radio's tuning totally wrong.... all they hear are smurfs and voices of giants :) and most of the times just tune round frequencies and you are spot on, but no, lets sound it like **&@*^.

Next time try to tune the stations, this sounds terrible.
I have a 920, this guy has no clue about what he is doing...........lousy job.
This guy has no clue at all on how a receiver works!
