The 35th Regiment of Foot who were attacked by the Indian allies of the French on leaving Fort William Henry had been formed in Belfast,they had the nicknames "the Orange Lilies"and the "Prince of Oranges Own." They had also been given special permission to wear Orange flashing on their uniforms.
Every time I play this at a gathering of like minded loyalist friends they all ask "what the fuck have you put on"? To which I can only reply with, a proper drum and flute band doing a proper piece of music the way it should be done, absolutely fantastic drumderg loyalists, take a bow team 👌💯🇬🇧🎵🎶
