This brings back happy childhood memories! Amazing camp oven roasts, damper with heaps of butter and honey, golden syrup dumplings in the camp oven - we always ate like kings and queens on family camping trips. Thanks for the memories guys 🙂❤
Troy , what a legend cooking after the night befores escapades 😅 so did Laura wake up to a dewy RTT you do need the zip open to stop the condensation, you might need to get King Billy a diesel heater for the RTT. Laura the recipe book for camping is a great idea, I keep meaning to do one but haven’t gotten around to it yet, you have now inspired me to get it done.
Thanks Katherine. Yes a little dew was still in the tent but that even happened the night before with them opened so don’t know the answer. Thank you, I do want to create a recipe book at some stage!
Ahh bright… we love bright.. we have some amazing memories there. I love the Kings response to your ribbing Troy, just remember you’re not too old for a good walloping !! 🤣 Those fire pits look great, can’t wait to see them burning at the farm and Ceduna one day!
I have always found it's better to cook the apples first and then put crumble on then into oven. Too much water released when uncooked. Alfalfa are sprouts too, just not bean sprouts! 😊Love the fire pits! Oh my God, those dogs are adorable! Love that you make them comfortable and warm. They give so much love. Great episode guys!
Thanks Susie, yes great point the crumble did have a bit too much moisture. We can't wait to get a few fire pits made. They look great 👌. haha, yes, the dogs get plenty of ❤️ 😍. thank you for tuning in 🙏
Hi Rebekah, we booked a few months in advance. Being a public holiday weekend. the place was absolutely packed, although you weren't on top of each other, which was nice 😍
omg i am not usually one for the sound of food but wow that damper sounded and looked good. Great to see the dogs treated the way they should be ,the Queens they are 😍....Troy,fyi afalfa tastes like dirt..bean sprouts are yummy😝
Thanks, Cheryl, the damper was so nice 😋. we might have to do more of it 👌. Haha, yes, l got the sprouts totally wrong 😅. Omg our dogs live the best life ❤️ 😍.
I think U need to teach Troy a Veggy tour of a shop...one sprouts are for a sandwich and other is for cooking... Poor King Billy waiting for him to drop all the groc's walking so far behind Troy... Next time making Damper put some herbs in the butter or jam or Milo Sandwich with Butter the best or Twistie must be cheese...Milo is the Best...brings back great memories... How many Australians remember the MILO Sandwich or the Dagwood Sandwich... Glad to see Bec is busy at work making a recipe book...I hope know one is watching your channel from work doesn't she work for the Government in the Trains just guessing...it must of been cold...😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks, Karen, 😆 vegetable tour, perhaps. KB was ok. We all had something to carry. It's funny what people pick up - Laura certainly goes above and beyond with her role at work. printing off a recipe on a lunch break won't break the bank 😆
Awesome set up guys. Cannot believe you guys were also up in Bright for the Kings birthday long weekend. I was up there camping also in the Tasman caravan park. Funny watching this when last week I was messaging you from Bright about your last weeks episode (farm and Hipcamp) Set up looks great, awesome location, good to see the gang together, minus Harrison. Enjoyed the episode.
@@JourneyUnknown I’m sure we will be able to meet one day. Look forward to coming for a farm stay at your hip camp. Have to let us know when the works are complete and you’re ready to take bookings. Love the fire pit idea also, will look good with your logo on it.
Any chance of obtaining the recipes that 'Mum' was using during this video? You are very organised & love the presentation of the recipes in the folder.
Bright s a great place did you get out to the apple place in wandi best apples in the country Do you have a link for the fire pits im keen for one cheers p.s damper looked shit hot too
Would love the contact details for the fire pits…..def great present idea. We’ve been making bread for nearly 30 years…..lazy these days and mix in thermomix (except didn’t take it for long weekend…..tough on the hands!) Also did your apples make heaps of juice using them raw?? I’ve always cooked mine first but will stop that if it’s not needed!
Hi Lisa, Thanks for watching. we'll put the fire pits up on our insta page once we get some more information, cost, etc. They certainly would make a great present ❤️. Omg we forgot how good Damper actually is 😋. Yep, school boy error, we should've pre-cooked the apples. surprisingly, it still tastes amazing 😋
Hey Troy can you let me know where you bought the home office in your factory I’ve looking on facebook marketplace and been experiencing a lot of sketchy crew??and an around about price please pal.👍🇦🇺
Hey Brant, we got the 2 room office with bathroom & kitchen from Ready Homes VIC in 2022 and it was about $28k back then with delivery. We had to unpack and install it. Then you need a plumber to set it up to your plumbing. It’s awesome though.

Enjoyable as always. We stayed at this park last on our 6 month trip so beautiful and tranquil ❤❤ . I love that your episode is so up-to-date
We absolutely love Bright. thanks for watching Kerri 🙏
That damper looks great.. hey wanna try a simple ginger damper? Just flour and a bottle of bundaberg ginger beer 🍻
That's sounds amazing 😋

I always admire people camping but I don’t want to give up the caravan😂
🤣 it was a bit of a big night 🍻🍷 Omg once you get a caravan, it's hard to go back to basics 😆
We loved Bright when we lived in Wodonga especially the autumn season.
Thanks Peter, it is such a beautiful area ❤️
Did you need to book way in advance? Bright is beautiful in all seasons! Dinner looked delicious

Never heard of a milo sandwich or a dagwood sandwich. It doesn't sound very healthy.
A few too many jars there I think Troy! 🤪

Which caravan park was this?
It's The NRMA bright 👍

🙏
What was the result of the condensation overnight?
Let's just say it was a little damp 😂
That's a lot of meat for three people! Or are the dogs that spoilt 😅
😂 the dogs did get a bit of 🍖. We also had friends along with us.
What breed are your dogs?
They're Hungarian Vislas 🐕
Sorry Laura, Troy is RIGHT re the condensation....
😍 👌
Sorry Troy, Laura is RIGHT re the sprouts.....
Haha this is a common theme 🤣
Be nice to Kenny.

Completely understandable when the Alpha male buys the Alfa sprouts. 😅
