That’s pretty normal. Either your feet can’t keep up with your head or your stamina is too low midway to mentally parse the arrows in time for your feet.
The song is very fast for these types of patterns. Also you probably are playing it on a lower speed mod than you usually would which makes it hard to read. I would play it on 2.5/2.75x then either memorize the end or two side it with a second player playing it on 1.5x.
Just passed this yesterday, second 18 clear after Astrogazer CSP. Just like some said here: I got a B, and that was a well earned B. Felt so good when I got the final step. I shake in fear when I see the challenge chart of this song and Endymion.
This honestly isn't that bad as level 18 DDR songs go, "hard but fair" I would say. The BPM gimmicks are just asinine though, why ruin a good song and chart just so you can make it "harder" by shutting out certain speed mods?
I don't really think BPM changes "ruin" it. If every DDR song was constant BPM like a CMOD you're the excitement away of learning how those songs work and adapting/overcoming it. Would IX or Delta Max or Fascination Maxx really be as rewarding to FC if they were constant BPM? Where do we draw the line between gimmicky BPM changes from regular ones? Just some food for thought.
Ddr wants you to either break out binoculars or memorize parts because that's "real difficulty." Not you know, making faster or more technical patterns but forced memorization. Fun.
Anti Anthem, Fascination Maxx, DeltaMax: Good Tempo Gimmicks Pluto (Relinquish), Over the Period, Tohoku Evolved: Bad Gimmicks. The difference is that with the latter they impact readability of the chart. Especially Pluto; 50 BPM?!
After being out of the ddr scene for 8 years and converting into PIU... I did this chart the first time I finally get to play DDR A. Expert yes. I got a B, and that was a well earned B. It's not as bad as PIU Single 21 Paradoxx by any means, but it's still pretty tough.
This was my second 18 clear!! It only took me three tries. I had an easier time with this than other 18s for sure. I'm still yet to pass Possession, Come to Life, or even Air Heroes.
@@DeshaunXD Possession requires hella stamina, and trying to do the jumps and 12th note jump steps after THAT brutal stream is so challenging. I'm yet to try it again since this comment though. I'm recovering from COVID so it might be a bit til I get my stamina back.

I feel exactly the same. Doing 18s now I feel like there steps should be pretty easy, bit when it comes time to execute I always choke.
